Maureen Cernadas's Online Review Report Card

It's extremely difficult to get an annual appointment. Her office does not schedule appointments until 2-3 months out but Dr. Cernadas availability is six months out. That pushes me into the next year missing my annual and making it 1 1/2 year annual. Not happy but what to do...

I feel the need to write a review on here since there have been some negative reviews.. which ar first made me nervous. But Dr. Cernadas was wonderful in making me feel comfortable about my surgery and answering any questions leading up to it. I went in prepared with relevant questions to ask and she was more than helpful in explaining. At the hospital She was prompt and even was there making sure everything was ready even before her staff arrived. I had a hysterectomy and she was very skilled in the procedure and my recovery thus far has been great. I was left with small incisions and no bruising which I’ve seen and heard horror stories about. I like to say You want a skilled and knowledgeable doctor not a friend... but she was more than friendly and even joked with me in the operating room. I guess each persons experience is different, but o have nothing but good things to say about Dr. C.

My experience with Dr. Cernadas was the worst I've ever had with a medical professional. I've had a rough road the past couple of years, including surgery and miscarriages, and I went to Dr Cernadas on the recommendation of my fertility clinic to address concerns from my last round of IVF. She was incredibly impatient with my questions, and did not take the time or energy to actually listen or think through the range of symptoms I was presenting. Worse, her bedside manner was horrible and she lacked a basic level of compassion. By the time we got to my physical exam I was crying, and got to the point where I could hardly speak - she proceeded with a pelvic exam despite this, never asking if I was ok. Normally I would have ended the visit and protected myself, but I was very upset and did not feel able to act in the moment. She did not say goodbye, wish me luck, or otherwise close the visit. I am truly appalled at her lack of care and compassion.

She is amazing, she was our doctor during my pregnancy time, always gave the best attention, my C-section is perfect, I would said, more than perfect. Thank you Doc Cernadas.

Most compassionate approachable physician never to busy to listen and help

Dr. Cernadas is an extredinary surgeon. I had an Abdominal Hystorectomy three week ago by Dr. Cernadas and words cannot explained the comfort Dr. Cernadas and her team provided to me and my family during my surgery and my stay at Saint Peters' Hospital. Dr. Cernadas I pray that God continue to bless you with the gift and healing and your practice continue to flourish. I thank you for eliminating the pain and discomfort that I've lived with for the last year. You will forever be in My prayers.

Dr. Cernadas was cruel and uncaring to me. I would not recommend her to anyone. I loved the other doctors in her practice, but Dr. Cernadas is a horrible physician. If I could give her zero stars I would.

Loooove Dr Cernadas but it is almost a miracle to get an appoitment with her. Last year I had to look for another doctor because I could not make one. Staff is not helpful at all.

I had been going to Brunswick Hills for 20+ years since I was a teenager. At the age of 25, I was dx with fibroids by Dr. Goldberg and had a myomectomy. Then, he left the practice & I started seeing Dr. Cernadas. BIG mistake! I could not believe a female could be so dismissive of uterine diseases. After years & years of agonizing pain, she told me to 'suck it up.' Seriously! Well, I went back to Dr. Goldberg and turns out I have adenomyosis & it is so bad I need a hysterectomy at 39. Perhaps if Dr. Cernadas took a little more time listening to her patients rather than telling them to 'suck it up' maybe this disease could have been treated and maybe I could have saved my uterus and had a baby. Would not see her again if my life depended on it.
