The staff at Asreta is caring, friendly and importantly , concerned and involved with my treatment. The office staff, the telephone staff are always ready help and follow through with my questions, the infusion nurses are my angels. They are very knowledgeable, efficient , in addition to being caring and sweet. I have only one major complaint. The person in charge of getting the authorization for the drug I'm taking now took so long. I as if I was in a war with no ammunition. I brought paperwork to Astera on a Friday morning so she would work on it before the weekend. When I called Tuesday for an update I was told the paperwork was on her desk, Dr. NISSENBLATT had to sign it and she didn't know where he was. I knew Dr. Nissenblatt was in Easr Brunswick on Monday, she should have been able to contact him. I think it took almost 5 weeks. That is my only complaint. I was living in New Mexico when diagnosed and came to New Jersey for Dr. Nissenblatt. Any words of praise I could write would not be enough. He calls immediately with results, problem questions and comple in his judgment.

I waited over an hour for my first appointment 7 years ago. When he came into the treatment room he got down on one knee, took my hand, and said how sorry he was I had to wait so long. Not only does he care about your physical health, but he knows emotional issues can lower your immune system. He treats the whole person. I have never met a doctor as wonderful as this man . I’ve never had to wait long for him again, but if I did I would know he was giving special care to someone.

Dr. Nissenblatt has been my guiding light through my cancer experiences. He pursues any and every potential symptom that doesn’t seem quite right until he gets answers. Because of his holistic approach, he has been a trusted resource and diagnostician for cancer as well as other medical conditions, and I am grateful to him. Michael is what every doctor should aspire to be, but what so few achieve.

I have been a patient with Dr. Nissenblatt for over 40 years. Not only do I think he is a great doctor, but we have become good friends over those years. We both enjoy talking about baseball, but we do root for different teams! I always look forward to my visits.

I am a retired nurse and very critical of the medical profession today. Dr. Nissenblatt is the best example of an old-fashioned,knowledgeable,caring physician. Not a lot of those around.

Dr Nissenblatt is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever experienced. He is an exceptional oncologist.

Excellent experience! Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Dr. Nissenblatt spends as much time with the me as necessary! He answers all question I ask with patience and understanding.
