List of Renee Gross's Reviews
I went to see her years back, after today’s visit I realized why I never bothered scheduling appointments with her. She’s distant, brash and not receptive to answering questions. When she did answer, she was so ‘matter of fact’ that I didn’t trust her answer. Best to schedule with another doctor or look for another practice, which I plan to do in the future.
Inability to effectively communicate with patients
I wish I had read the reviews before booking an appointment. I'm leaving a review so that you don't make the same mistake. I'll be looking for a doctor that is willing to have an open conversation with their patients and isn't condescending in their delivery. Practicing medicine since the 80s with the same mentality.
Dr. Gross is extremely professional and I have never had a negative experience with her. I have been with the practice for 30 years and 26 of those years, I will only make appointments with Dr. Gross. My children, who she delivered, also use her for their checkups. I highly recommend this doctor!
She was just way too cold. I think she is an okay doctor but if you are looking for someone understanding better find someone else.
Looking for new OBGYN as my former one had unexpectedly retired. This woman has the warmth and compassion of a corpse. Just, cold, arrogant and rude. I specifically selected her practice to address needs she specialize in - menopause. I'd also conveyed concerns of depression. Not once did she acknowledge my concerns. All she cared about was an irrelevant issue - test me for STDs DESPITE me telling her I have been abstinent for over 10 years. Her physical exam was an onslaught to my vagina. just a horrible experience. I would not recommend her.
I have never rated anyone before. But after reading these reviews I felt I had to include my experience. Evidently, Dr. Gross enjoys working with her past patients and their families. based on the 5 stars she got in one review. I will have to join the others and agree with them, I found her to be unfriendly , rude, and lacking empathy or kindness. I was totally shocked by her interpersonal style. Although in her bio she makes a point of stating that "kindness" is a most important value of hers.
looking for a new doctor to address key needs - depression, beginning of and managing menopause, how to cope with symptoms. This woman is as cold and compassionate as a corpse. She did not address any of my concerns despite the website stating that is her area of expertise. Dr. Gross' recommendation for me? - a full panel STD test DESPITE me telling her I have not been sexually active in over 10 years. Just callous.
While Dr. Gross may be a competent clinician, she is not very caring or compassionate. At my consult, she was distant, bored, and gave me the bum's rush. My pap was fine, but she's very reluctant to give menopausal patients HRT. When I called with a question, a few months, later, she cancelled my prescriptions at the pharmacy and essentially held my meds hostage until I went for her Ultrasound - which came back fine. Needless to say, I'm not going back to her.
DO NOT COME HERE! I recently went to Dr. Gross, and have to say she might be the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. She had no consideration for my concerns and honestly acted as if she could careless about my well being. She cancelled my prescriptions at my pharmacy when I was hesitant to submit to the multiple uneccessary ultrasounds that she wanted to perform. Her office lied and said that my insurance wouldn't cover the ultrasound in her office. I called my insurance and they said that they would cover it. She was extremely rude and I can easily say I will never use her again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
