Doctor Akyar has been my family doctor since I reside in East Brunswick. She takes care of my whole family. I've never seen someone so dedicated to her profession like her. She goes above and beyond. I will forever be grateful for saving my spouses life. She visited my spouse in the hospital sometimes even when she wasnt even charging the insurance. I've been truly blessed to have her as my primary doctor. She is always there when we call her and answers all my questions when needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Akyar has been my Primary Care Physician for more than Eighteen years. She is caring, compassionate, thorough, and accommodating. She has gone above and beyond for me and my family more times than I can count. Her staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help, especially with the scheduling of appointments, and are considerate of you and your privacy.

I moved to Dr. Selma few years ago. Every time Dr has been very courteous and encouraged inquiring about my conditions. Always left Dr's office better than when walked in. Dr. have always been professional and now having the Lab on prem adds convenience. I am glad Dr have her practice in our community and wishes Her the best

Dr. Akyar is our family doctor for 5+ years and although we moved from the area we are still driving 45 mins to see her cos she is the best. Dr Akyar takes her time with you, does everything you need (and more important for me avoids things that are bot necessary), follow ups with me (remembers my health history better than me :) and even helps if I have a trouble with my insurance if it is anything she can.

Dr Akyar is a wonderful caring sympathetic doctor. She listens to your concerns & is extremely patient & kind. If I am sick on more than one occasion. She has come into the office even though it was her day off. Calls you back whenever I call her. She is truly a wonderful doctor. I would recommend her to everyone. Never rushes you & gives a thorough checkup. No matter how long it takes. She is very mild mannered & her office is modern & pristine. She is the epitome of what a great doctor should be.

Dr. Akyar is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. I highly recommend her. She accommodates my schedule on short notice (like today) and takes the time to listen and explain things to me. She is very knowledgeable and I greatly respect her opinion. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients.

First time writing a review, however felt the need to alert other families looking for a primary care physician- I took my mother today to Dr Akyar for a physical and routine general Checkup. We found this doctor online and proceeded to make an appointment based on reviews and convienece of being local. We arrived and proceeded to meet with Dr Akyar. Over the last few years, I have had many interactions and ongoing relationships with a multitude of physicians. I have never met someone who was more rude, inconsiderate and downright unprofessional. We were there for a routine physical and all I heard multiple times is ‘this is becoming more than a physical, you’re asking too many questions”. Excuse me?!! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I have never written an online review of any doctors visit, but I Felt compelled to share my experience. I would not recommend this experience to anyone whatsoever and adamantly disgusted as to how my mother was treated. I would never let another person disrespect and or speak to a patient like that let alone my mother. Wow
