I have been a patient of Dr Marzella since 1995. He has always been easy to talk to, friendly and caring. Since he changed over to join Summit Medical group things have changed some what and not for the better. Rather than the friendly office atmosphere it is now rather cold and business like. Appointments are very difficult to make and twice when I called the office with medication concerns there was no response. Dr Marzella is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate however the Summit Medical is not what I like about him. All my many specialists are part of Atlantic Health and there is little to no communication with them after my visits to Dr Marzella. I wish this could be improved.

Dr. Marzella was my doctor from the day I was born up to around age 22. I was heartbroken when I moved to PA and had to find another PCP. He's treated everything from the sniffles to a life threatening case of pneumonia with me, and I couldn't recommend him more highly!!

I’ve been a patient here ever since I became too old to see my pediatrician and I can’t believe the harsh and rude people that left such awful reviews. They used to be a little less organized 10+ years ago but they will always call back when you leave a VM. People expect instant results and lack patience of any kind so they lash out when they don’t get their way. Dr. Marzella is very kind, caring, trustworthy and listens patiently without rushing you out the door. He’s helped me get through 2 broken ribs, allergy issues and saved my social life when I started getting cold sores that got so painful and big I wouldn’t leave my house. He didn’t treat me like I was a leper, instead he gave me Rx that was strong enough to stop them before they came out and if they did they were 1/10th of the size. I finally felt normal again. He explains everything in detail and separates the truth from the myths and I learned a lot of things I didn’t know. There are times when he is very busy and it’s hard to get an immediate appointment so I also see Dr.Patel who is a great physician. Patel is friendly, knowledgeable and makes it so that you’re not uncomfortable if it’s your first time seeing him. The practice has improved so much over the years and they have such friendly/knowledgeable nurses and staff members. I’ve yet to find a rude employee to encounter there in my 10+ years as a patient.

Great doctor caring doesn’t rush you, helpful. My family has been going to him Since they opened. They are now part Of summit medical group. If you need a good caring family doctor i recommend going here! All the doctors are great!
