Great practice
I looked into the office while with my child and spoke to the staff while at the dental office. And they got up and closed the door.
I love this doctor. I have recommended her to plenty of people. She was my pediatrician from birth and now she cares for my child. She is always professional and right to the point. She makes sure you get quality care without spending half of your day in the office. The office staff is always friendly and they have an almost immediate turn around on any referrals or additional paperwork requests.
My adivce is NOT to go to this doctor!! Her staff was so rude and disorganized! She had no bedside manners either. The wait was 30 minutes and the waiting room was dirty! Overall, not good!! I changed doctors immediately.
My comments about Dr. Maniar are the unfortunate result of what I like to refer to as "typical" doctor syndrome. Her limited knowledge of - not medicine - but of ails and their treatments and the human body as one composite organism, is a failing of many modern physicians. Until a few years ago, Dr. Maniar was the one and only physician I knew from infancy. Every thing I dealt with, from my bout of bronchitis that lasted the first 11 years of life, to the chicken pox and beyond, I saw her for. To my dismay, as I reflect back on what my parents who knew nothing of medicine and alternative treatments allowed, I was overmedicated with antibiotics (particularly Amoxicillin), and I am paying for it down to this day. Every cough, sneeze, twitch or move in the wrong direction meant a trip to Dr. Maniar that resulted in still more antibiotics. Dr. Maniar was.. is a nice woman. But she does not listen to her patients or their parents, and she does not venture beyond the scope of what I would refer to as "the basics". The day I went into her office and dealth with her PA I realized how I had been robbed over the years. Not only did her PA treat me with more dignity, kindness and payed great attention to what I had to say. She suggested other, less invasive and less clinical methods I could pursue to alleviate my ails and get rid of some of the concerns I had about other aspects of my health. As a person, I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Maniar. She started off as an inner-city physician, who I believe is unknowingly exploiting the underprivileged and uninformed. She should give real thought to how she is ruining young children's health, giving them antibiotics when their affliction is viral.. It is a shame, a shame that she bears only partial responsibility in, and parents need to be informed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
