List of Robert D. Cunningham's Reviews
The doctor was extremely rude, i watched him throw meds at an older lady, he also KICKED MY BOYFRIEND OUT OF THE OFFICE FOR NOT HAVING A MASK ON HIM while having metal stuck in his eye. He should not have a medical lisence. He left a patient without care.
Very patient, kind, thorough and understanding , a family doctor, would recommend him
Dr.Cunninggham is really arrogant and rude. It doesn't even deserve one star.
Dr. Cunningham is very good and attentive to those in his care.
Very thorough and attentive to patients.
It's the worst Dr. , very unprofessional and rude. Please dont go there he will not listen to your concern and he move very fast. I would not recommend him to anyone, please dont waste your time.
I will never recommended no one to your office because you’re a very rude dr yes dr Cunnighan he’s a very rude dr you don’t deserve even one stars
Just hoping i will get a insurance that Dr Cunningham will accept, a excellent eye doc that i would recommended.
One of the absolute worst optomologist I've ever encountered. He is all about money. Over books appointments, moves too fast, he has a very rude condescending demeanor and to be an African American dr. He appears to be more of an uncle Tom. Unethical in his practice and I dont recommend him to a dog.
Beyond horrible experience! Dr. Cunningham was the "on-call" opthamalogist at St. Barnabas on Christmas and refused to come in to the ER to treat me as he deemed my situation a non-emergency. I had a piece of metal in my eye which apparently had been there for almost one week. At the point of my visit to the ER I was unable to open or close my eye without using eye wash, the metal had begun to rust and was now embedded in my cornea. My eye was constantly burning and had extreme sensitivity to both light and dark. I had also let the doctor know that I had been unable to sleep for 24 hours due to my condition. I also informed the doctor that I was nursing my newborn at home and had safety concerns about the lack of sleep. The answer I was given was to take heavy narcotics to deal with the pain and come to his office in East Orange at some point the following day. I was also informed that "one day would not make a difference as the procedure would still have me in pain." Fortunately I found an opthamalogist willing to come in to his office to help. The relief was immediate and we were informed that if I waited any longer the metal may have attached to a blood vessel.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
