List of Vasudha Dhar's Reviews
She is amazing. Very patience , very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and experienced. Following up is good ,
Dr Vasudha Dhar, What a great doctor. She is one of the best doctors I have seen in my life. She suggested me the colonoscopy at the right time and saved me from major complications in future. I have gone for Colonoscopy. I read so much about colonoscopy in internet and I was little nervous on that day and little scarred. She has answered all my queries and made me comfortable. She completed my colonoscopy and explained about it. I strongly recommend Dr Vasudha Dhar for anyone who need best care. She is very competent. You are in safe hands when you are treated by Dr Vasudha Dhar and rest everything will be assured
Dr. Dhar is one of the best Specialists you will ever come across. She is extremely thorough, thinks out of the box and knows what she is doing, along with talking about. A+++++
Dr. Dhar is an incredibly special person, and we're all lucky she chose to become a physician and help people. She treated me like a human being and didn't act like she was superior. She made me feel comfortable and at ease quickly. She listened to what I had to say and had responses that made sense and educated me. Her wisdom and commitment to her patients is obvious. She has a personal touch that lets you know she truly cares, and when you need a doctor, knowing that is EVERYTHING. She may take a little longer, because she gives each patient the time that they need, and she doesn't rush through appointments. Sometimes there are doctors you have to wait for. The smart people learn these are the doctors worth waiting for. The impatient people miss the diamond in the rough and miss out on this amazing doctor. I'm actually kind of glad, I'd like to keep her to myself. So, if you really need help from a GI, go here.
She is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DOCTOR YOU WILL FIND. She is so caring, highly intelligent and her office staff is extremely responsive.
My family all sees Dr. Dhar- we have been patients for many years. I cannot say enough about how much we value her and her staff. Compassionate, kind, thorough are all words- but they don’t do justice to the care we receive. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Dhar to anyone looking for the best care available.
Great doctor. Listened to me without rushing me out . I felt bad for the patients waiting outside but I'm sure they would get the same care and consideration. Worth waiting for. Finally have clarity as to my Gi issues. Wonderful doctor . great staff
Dr. Dhar is such an amazing and empathetic person. She helped me with my GI issues as well as anxiety! Her front staff have always been so helpful and reassuring, if I could give 10 stars I would!! Love this place!!
Dr Dhar should be avoided as she is unprofessional. I have had three colonoscopies with her (2012-17 and 22) and she has been late each time to the location of the procedure. So never again. One can only label her conduct arrogant and unprofessional to repeatedly ignore your patients for yourself! After all she set the schedule the least she could do is keep it. Moreover her staff is unorganized and seemingly inexperienced. This time I had to show the young lady who took my blood pressure at her office how to put the blood pressure cuff on me!!!! Stay away. You’ll avoid disappointment and inconvenience.
I find it disappointing having to write such a negative review about a doctor, I had high hopes for…. I saw Dr. Dhar on May 23rd. Overall, it was a good visit. She recommended an endoscopy as a next step to better understand some of the digestive and stomach issues, I was experiencing. The endoscopy was scheduled for July 22nd. This was the earliest appointment available. On the morning of July 22nd, I arrived at 8:45AM for 9:15AM check in. My actual procedure was scheduled for 10:15AM. Everything to this point was smooth. The nurse that checked me in took really good care of me. They started an IV and I was ready to go or so I thought. I was then transitioned to the OR nurse, anesthesiologist and doctor to ask a few final questions and here’s where the confusion began. The OR nurse only had paperwork for a colonoscopy which was completely different in terms of how I was checked-in/ prepped /scheduled. Dr. Dhar needed to call her office to clarify what procedure I was scheduled for since I was telling her it was an endoscopy and their paperwork was telling them a colonoscopy. To my utter surprise they only had paperwork for a colonoscopy. Dr. Dhar told me her office was working with insurance to get the endoscopy approved so I would do both an endoscopy and colonoscopy. She said it would only take about 10 to 15 minutes. I had no phone, no watch to track time. 2 hours went by as I laid there with no communication about what was going on. During this time, I completely lost confidence in the doctor. I got up to use the bathroom and asked the first nurse that checked me to get my things and remove my IV so I can go home. In total, I was there for 3 hours and left extremely upset and confused. I waited 2 months for this appointment and was looking forward to getting answers to explain how I was feeling. Everything that went into preparing me for my appointment was a complete waste of time. While driving home the doctor called asking me to come back because she was able to get the insurance approvals but at that point having no confidence in this doctor I was not going to allow her to perform the procedures. I need the weekend to process what happened and called the office on Monday asking for Dr. Dhar to call me back so we can talk about what happened and unfortunately, I never heard from her. I find it extremely unprofessional and inhumane. I was very flexible with all of the confusion and mistakes that Dr. Dhar and her office made but having me sit there for two hours was unacceptable and to top it off Dr. Dhar didn’t have the decency to call me back. No one should ever be treated this way.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
