I have been so happy with my entire experience with Dr. Wisser and his staff that I felt that I had to write down and express my feelings. When I met with Dr. Wisser I realized that he was more than a surgeon, he was an artist, and he was passionate about every detail of his patients’ experience and outcome. Their happiness and satisfaction with the result was everything. Immediately after the surgery, I awoke to what felt like an entire new me. Dr. Wisser had sculpted me into an amazing version of myself. One way beyond one that I imagined, and he was able to capture and realize through his incredible attention to detail, his passion for artistry and most importantly, his amazing empathy and caring he shows with everything he does. This is what separates Dr. Wisser from others. His staff is the most wonderful, accommodating group I can remember. They are like family and there is a trust there that is nothing short of incredible. I always felt totally taken care of, and safe within their very capable hands, every step of the way through my recovery. Dr. Jamie Wisser is a rare breed of doctor… an amalgam of the three critical components that differentiate a good doctor from a truly exceptional one: knowledge born of experience, creativity, and genuine caring. I’ve known Dr. Wisser for 17 years, both personally and professionally. It’s one thing to observe a doctor as they interact with their other patients; it is another matter altogether when YOU are the patient, or more importantly, your child and/or your spouse. Dr. Wisser has rendered his expert and artistic plastic surgical skills with the utmost care with my daughter when she was two years old, having stitched up a significant gash in her eyebrow line when she hit her head on the coffee table. She is eight years old today, and so precise is his work that it appears that the injury never even occurred. When my wife broke her finger in six places, Dr. Wisser’s masterful skills as a hand surgeon restored the full functionality of her hand, like the accident hadn’t happened. Most recently, when I experienced an unexpectedly escalating medical condition, Dr. Wisser made an expert diagnosis & prognosis, assembled the best medical experts, and saw me through what could have been a life-threatening crisis, staying ahead of the situation at every turn, all the while reassuring me that everything would be alright… and true to his word and his expertise, it was. To say that he goes above and beyond would be a vast understatement. The common thread in everything I have both witnessed and experienced with Dr. Jamie Wisser is the unparalleled level of genuine care that he continually exhibits. But, it’s not procedural; caring is not a thing that Dr. Wisser… DOES. Caring is part and parcel of WHO HE IS. Caring is one of the master threads in the tapestry of Dr. Wisser’s personality, and it shows in the ease that he instills in his patients, myself included. There are plenty of adequate doctors in the world who care, and there are plenty of doctors who are clinically good, but have callouses over their feelings preventing them from connecting with their patients; but seldom does one find a doctor as skilled, as knowledgeable, and as truly compassionately caring as Dr. Jamie Wisser.

Thank you Dr. Wisser. Thank you for saving my hand. I had a catastrophic accident four years ago. This accident crushed most of my right hand, crushing bones separating muscles splitting skin and tendons. I was blessed and lucky that Dr. Wisser was the plastic surgeon that the hospital called when my accident occurred. Close to a hundred hours of surgery and reconstruction has given me almost 70% function. With four fingers and a prosthetic device for my thumb my function has largely returned. Dr. Wisser precisely reconstructed fingers, nerves, tendons and skin to return my hand to very close to normal appearance. Dr Wiser's plastic surgeon precision has left my hand almost scarless. Dr Wisser and his support staff were available and responsive, knowledgeable efficient and kind. Two of my sisters supported me through hospitalization, surgeries and recovery. We all love Dr Wisser. I have no reservations in recommending Dr Wisser and his surgical services.

In May of 2022, I was bit by a dog affected my right hand. When I met the staff and Dr. Wisser; I immediately felt relieved. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, caring, efficient--all my questions were answered. I was very anxious regarding having to have hand surgery; everyone relieved my fear and anxiety. It feels like family at the office--there is laughter and calmness. Everyone was courteous and professional. Dr. Wisser, along with Joan, RN explained the procedures, therapy, medication, and outcome in depth. When I called the office for assistance, my issues were addressed. I received excellent care from the time I entered until the time I was discharged. I cannot say enough about my pleasant experience. I will definitely recommend Dr. Wisser to everyone who needs surgery. I thank the staff for all they have done for me. I healed nicely; and my sacr also healed nicely. If need be; I will choose Dr. Wisser. Again, thank you for wonderful experience.
