Seeing him for an appointment went excellent. He is patient with all my questions, and he shows great confidence in his surgical abilities. I felt confident enough to go ahead a book a surgery right there and then!

If I could give a negative amount of stars, I would. This guy misplaced 2 screws in my vertebrae and caused irreversible damage. Wouldn’t treat my pain and completely disregarded the damage being done. I broke 4 vertebrae and letting this guy operate on me was the BIGGEST mistake I’ve ever made. This guy won’t listen to you or understand your pain. His PA at the time was completely arrogant and beyond undereducated. DO NOT LET HIM WORK ON YOU. Unfortunately, I could not file a malpractice because too much time had passed. ❌❌❌WARNING

Had a cervical fusion performed by Dr. Gillis in July of '21. It was a wonderful experience. He is a great surgeon with a fantastic bedside manner. I work as a registered nurse in the perioperative area and would gladly choose to go back to him.

I have suffered a long time I accepted my condition as being a result of a medical condition I have been on a long road; pain management, acupuncture, injections and to no avail I can’t put in words how grateful I am and what Dr Gillis has given me; a new lease on life! Having had back surgeries 28 years ago, my weakened spine had collapsed and ensuing scoliosis added problems to the stenosis already present. Dr. Gillis was confident he could help. He performed a major surgery and I can honestly say that the sciatica and back pain has not been present the 2 months since surgery. X-rays look great and I stand more erect. I have some nerve damage that will repair itself in time, a small price to pay for correcting the problem. Two thumbs up for everyone in the office ( shout out for Rene) and operating room! Thank you team!

I was very happy with Dr. Gillis and staff. I am feeling no pain as before and recovery has been very easy, I would certainly recommend Dr. Gillis to any with neurological issues.

The office staff is very pleasant and Covid cleanliness protocol can be seen everywhere you look. Dr.Gillis came to me highly recommended. He explained my problem in a way I could understand and detailed how my lumbar surgery/fusion will be performed. His clerical secretary Rene is outstanding and very patient answering all of my questions . Great doctor and great staff

Dr. Gillis was called in on a consult for my 73 year old Mom when a CT to rule out stroke found a lemon sized brain tumor. He was kind, expeditious and confident, everything you want in a surgeon. My Mom's craniotomy was performed yesterday, went routinely and our family could not be more thrilled with his fortuitous presence in our lives.
