David Gonzalez's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr. Gonzalez at the new office in Eatontown. He was very professional and thorough. The nurses and ultrasound tech were also very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a 9am appt and only waited a few minutes. The new office is clean and modern, I was very happy overall with my experience.

Dr. G was absolutely fantastic. He was very patient and answered all of me and my husband's questions as I had pregnancy complications. Followed his recommendations, baby came out perfect & is now a very healthy 5 month old. I had no issue with front desk staff. Be prepared to wait a long time but this place takes emergency visits so I believe that's why you do have to wait a bit longer. Bring a book and/or plan accordingly.

An emergent screening for a high risk situation was set at the end of a pregnancy , they chose to make us wait hours while people when in and out instead of prioritizing the high risk situation. Terrible and the worst part was they didn’t care. Go somewhere else it’s worth the drive.

Rude is the only way to describe the staff. Been to this place twice and both times I felt like an inconvenience. The most recent visit will be my last. The ultrasound tech was very unprofessional, practically accused me of lying about emptying my bladder while following me out to the bathroom to make sure I went! Outrageous! I let it slide because I was there for Dr. Gonzalez. When my exam was finished I was told by Dr. Gonzalez to go to the front desk and make a follow-up appointment only to find no one was there. My husband walked around to find a staff member, which he did, but was told they were all on lunch and to call back. I have never in my life seen such disrespectful front desk staff. Hire new secretaries! There are too many people looking for jobs to hold onto such nasty people.

Dr. Lizer is great. She's very friendly - I found her bedside manner to be much kinder than Dr. Gonzalez. Be prepared to wait. I've been here for 3 ultrasounds throughout my pregnancy and have had a long wait for every one. My last visit was frustrating with an hour and half wait time. When I showed up 10 mins early, I was told there were people ahead of me and asked to wait in my car. There was one other woman in the waiting room. I sat in my car for 40 mins when I called inside to ask an eta of when I could expect to be seen. The front desk said she didn't know and would call me. Finally 10 mins later, she called and said I could come inside.... to wait another 40 mins. That same woman from when I first showed up was also still waiting. Nobody ever said "sorry for the delay", "we're running behind", etc. I asked the tech if they were short staffed and she was the first person to say sorry it was such a long wait. Also frustrating that they apparently changed the policy to allow spouses to join, but never told me. I would have booked a day that my husband was available.

Terribly over booked understaffed office!!! Every time come to this office I’ve had to wait 45 to over an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment, which I usually arrive 10-15 mins early to check in and pay. Very unprofessional and irritating to drive 45 minutes to a doctor appointment to then have to wait an additional hour after your scheduled appointment to then have to sit in the room for 15-20 mins alone waiting for the doctor. Prepare to waste at least 1.5 - 2 hours of time just sitting and waiting on this staff who clearly doesn’t care about anyone else time. Would not recommend this office at all!!! You are better off finding another location!

Front desk and nursing staff very rushy and rude. I did wait quite a while when taken to my room but the Dr and ultrasound tech were very kind and patient. They definitely need to wipe out the front desk staff and this place would be much better.

Dr. Gonzalez is a very thorough doctor. He has an excellent bedside manner. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gonzalez is a brilliant and skilled physician. He seems to be well-respected by others in the field- we were sent to CHOP for further testing; doctors there were impressed with Dr. Gonzalez for being so perceptive and being 100% correct in what was a difficult diagnosis to make. I would not go to any other MFM specialist. *Dr. Gonzalez is not an orthopedic surgeon.

My family wanted me to travel to NYC to see a specialist. I did and was not impressed. Here in Ocean County, Dr Gonzalez gives a level of care that makes you feel confident and very well cared for. I have a healthy child and am so grateful to the doctor and his staff. I would, and do recommend him to everyone.
