Dr. Barrows was agitated & made no effort to establish a rapport with my teenage son. He talked over me & did not listen when I twice gave him an important upcoming surgery date. He failed to order the right test & by the time they did order it the abnormal results came back the day before surgery. We had to cancel surgery to start treatment. Dr. Barrows is an exceptional doctor. There was an issue that my son was having that we had checked out regarding puberty and possibly going into precocious puberty. He took an enormous amount of time on the phone with me to help me feel comfortable, and made sure that he continued all of the testing that was absolutely necessary to ensure to rule out anything serious. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Barrows is an amazing doctor! He has handled my sons case with care and such personal attention. Between contacting specialists for me and calling me personally to review results, his attention to detail in such a difficult time has been fantastic!

Dr. Barrows is amazing. He has taken a very stressful situation and helped manage through following up every step of the way, referring physicians and leaving no stone unturned, calling after hours and providing me the platform to ask questions. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor !!!

Dr. Barrows is one of the best doctors that I’ve encountered with my son. He is extremely thorough and ensures that he thinks outside the box and covers all bases especially when he sees an issue. He followed up diligently with me within an hour of report that came through my chart, he followed through all the way until the end. His bedside manner is fantastic and he makes me feel like my son is in good hands. I highly recommend him.

Super nice guy and nice place but everytime I’m here I am waiting for at least 30 mins just for him to tell me everything looks good. Takes way to long for a 5 min appointment.

Terrible place. Ladies at the front desk were very nice. Came here when my son was 1 week old because his thyroid levels came back abnormal in his newborn screening. They were too low. So they suggested we get another blood test to see if they got better. 2nd time around when he was 2 weeks they came back too high. They DEMANDED me to come that day to put him on medication for the next 3 years of his life potentially forever. I said I didn’t feel comfortable doing that without a second opinion (especially since what would they be treating an under active or over active thyroid?) . Dr. Barrows nurse was extremely rude and told me I had better get that second opinion fast, then continued to call me for the following 3 days after I told them I was seeing someone else. Dr. Barrows made me feel rushed, made me and my fiancé feel like we didn’t know what was going on. I was waiting to post this review until after everything was figured out. After 3 more blood test and Dr. Nicoletta’s hard work and consideration, our baby boys levels are completely normal! ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION & don’t let anyone make you feel bad for that! As for Dr. Barrows you should be embarrassed!!!!
