He's been my cardiologist for 7 years save my life and keeps me healthy.

Very knowledgeable but staff prevents you from getting in touch with him. Very hard to get an appointment even though my husband needed a stress test. Very hard !!!!

I met Dr Tawfik- for the 1st time last week.. I was there for a comprehensive leg ultrasound Doppler.. And was extremely impressed that Dr Tawfik took an extended amount of time- to let me explain my concerns.. fears... and family history. He put me at ease ..reduced my stress level.. and showed genuine concern for my well-being .. ALL was thank G-d fine .. and I want to thank him and his wonderful staff including Debbie and Jess for their time and understanding!!! It is so comforting to know that he is always available- if anyone in my family needs an amazing doctor.. Thank you again.

I don’t have any experiences at this place but let me tell you Dr. Tawfik saved my life. He found an aneurysm in my left main artery and I am here today to write this review because of an amazing doctor, Dr.Tawfik!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!! I not bashing Dr. Tawfik as I am relatively a new patient of his. But OMG the office staff is in dire need of improvement. Oftentimes you can call during opening hours and you will get the answering service telling you they havent opened their phone lines yet OR you leave a message and it's days or sometimes you never get a call back. I waited over 2 1/2 hrs to see the Dr. just to have the person who had a appointment 1 hour after me get seen by the Dr. after only 10 minutes of waiting because he told the front desk that he had to be somewhere by a certain time. And to top things off, I was told that the Dr. left for the day and it was showing in the computer that my appointment was cancelled! I was and still am ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS, blood pressure is off the chain over this. Apologies are just extremely hard to accept and I consider myself a reasonable person. The office manager offered me an appointment the next day. NO! I am not taking more time out of my work day to go over several tests results , the Dr. needs to do a virtual appointment first thing the next day after all I went through but I was told that he will likely call me at the end of the day. We'll see how that goes! My experiences dealing with calling the office, return calls, and wait times has been nothing but UNPROFESSIONAL and INEXCUSABLE

He's one of the most caring doctors I've ever had the pleasure of being seen by. He actually cares about his patients and genuinely cares about what they're going through. I am deeply honored to be taken in as his patient. I wish all doctors were as caring and as giving as he is. God bless him.

I saw Dr. Tawfik multiple times now, he provides great detail and insight at each visit. He's clear, concise, he cares, he's been a great addition to my healthcare team. I trust him and am confident in his expertise.

Yet, knew nothing about me when filling in for another doctor, had not read my chart, had no idea as to my visit. He said he liked to have the patient describe..had to ask several times to please first read about me to at least have an idea of me as a patient. Discussed a trial but left out a significant aspect of it, that being an added supplement to already existing meds. This doctor was obviously very accomplished which I respect. Unlike my regular doctor, he was unaware of any pre-auth and as a result, a prescription was delayed. Again, he is obviously very accomplished in his field and is likely better suited for a less care, involved patient. His desire to have a patient describe their condition etc can be applauded as an effort to engage the patient. There are however patients who would like a doctor to at least have a general idea as to their visit - very important for a patient to feel as they are being heard, and to do everything possible to facilitate the filling of a prescription. Prior experience with regular doctor was excellent, nothing overlooked, listened, spoke to me as though an equal, no delays of any kind.
