My husband Gerard Trigo had surgery on his lung, Dr. Peter was excellent. He explained everything we were to expect. His staff is wonderful, answer the phone quickly and are extremely professional. My husband was in pain the Dr. Called us and filled a new script. We need more m.d. s like him. Caring and professional.

TERRIBLE`

Dr. Scalia is a great surgeon. He's excellent at explaining what he's going to do and has excellent hospital follow up. We saw him at the hospital every day after my husband's lung cancer surgery, sometimes more than once. We never felt rushed and he answered all of our questions, both at the office and the hospital, showing patience and understanding about our fears and uncertainties. His office staff is wonderful and supportive, making us feel very confident that we made the right choice. My husband recently needed another cancer surgery and we were disappointed that he couldn't operate because it was not his specialty, but he did refer us to another excellent surgeon.

Dr. Scalia is the one physician that was able to give a coherent diagnoses of my mother's injuries resulting from an automobile accident. My mother of age 77 underwent a complicated emergency surgery performed by Dr. Scalia in result saving her life. His professionalism and expertise has shown for the post surgery and my mother's recovery has been a success. I am thankful and very grateful to Dr. Scalia and his team for the attention given to human life.

Dr. Squillaro operated on my husband almost two years ago. He delivered excellent care and continues to provide compassionate care to us. He answers our questions with patience and we have complete faith in him.

Dr. Scalia did a fantastic job with information and surgery (unplanned and immediate in my case) in which he also made me feel safe, secure, and comfortable. The after care process and appointments were quick and easy and the office staff is personable, caring, kind, and amenable.

had a chest tube put in last week by him... talked me into getting some crazy surgery with a robot which i didn't need my lung was completely healed... had surgery on friday the 8th.. today is Tuesday the 12 and i have been sitting home with the most intense pain and agony of my life.. i called the doctor and the hospital multiple times about the script they wrote for me for my nausea and pain but was told we cant find it..... left multiple voice mails with the office as well as texted the docto

RUN AWAY

Dr Squillaro is not only a fabulous surgeon but a wonderful person. My first encounter with him involved removing a stricture that prevented me from swallowing even water. Most recently he was called in to implant a feeding tube. Due to issues with the hospital and mistakes made in my care, he personally got involved and with the help of God, I credit him with saving my life. He treats each patient as if they were the only patients he has. A rare thing in today's medical professional. His office staff is also wonderful and very helpful and understanding. I love them all! I will gladly continue to put my life in his hands.
