It’s hard enough getting a pediatric pulmonologist appointment. 1 hour before my sons appointment they cancelled us because they didn’t have the right equipment at their location. They tried to reschedule me a month from now. My son is having issues now and can’t wait a month. Poor management and I will never reschedule with them.

If I could give him zero stars I would. Diagnosed my son with Cystic Fibrosis. Said my husband and I didn't need to be tested. I took it upon myself to get tested anyway and found out neither my husband or myself are carriers. That means my son can't have the disease! He had nothing to say to this. Six months thinking my son had this disease was terrible for us and for him. The doctor was unapologetic and told us to go back to the pediatrician. A year later, and we still have no answers. We are now taking him to CHOP.

Terrific office. They always go the extra mile for my special needs stepson.

Very rude on the phone,i had more questions, but they dropped the phone,telling that nurse will contact me, never said when they will contact meno respect to people, I am shokedI have called on 3/30/2018 at 1:56pm

My son went to Dr. Zanni yesterday. It was a great visit. He seemed knowledgable and caring. He prescribed the QVAR inhaler,and I went home and gave it to my 8 year old son. Immediately my son started struggling to breathe. I called Dr. Zanni's office. Waited 45 minutes. No phone call back from his office. I called the answering service again, and they said that someone was paged. At one point my son started turning blue around his mouth, and I just brought him to ER. He had a bad reaction to this inhaler, and zanni's office never called me back. EVER! Need a new pulminologist now.

I cannot comment on Dr. Zanni's bedside manner or competence. I decided to switch my asthmatic daughter to Dr. Zanni after a favorable review from a friend. I had to wait months to get an appt. A few weeks before our first appt. the office called to "reschedule" because Dr. Zanni would not be available. They made no attempt to find an appt in the same timeframe as my original. I was told to just wait another month and a half or see a different doctor. Even though our current Pediatric Pulmonologist is quite a bit farther, he clearly is worth the time -- and he can see me much sooner. I have no respect for a doctor who has no respect for his patients.

Doctor has a great bedside manner and spends lots of time when you are at an office visit. But be warned, the minute you leave , is when the caring stops. I had a serious problem with my son and the doctor consistently passes the buck to the nurse. My son suffers terrible with asthma and other health ailments. I asked to speak to the doctor the nurse road blocked it didn't take it seriously and my son wound up admitted in the hospital. I believe I will have no other choice than to change to a new doctor. This time I will ask upfront if the doctor will be passing urgent messages back and forth to the nurse who just graduated out of nursing school. I would like to know ahead of time so that I can find a doctor that has compassion whether you are in the office or out of the office. The nurses there truly hate their jobs and don't care about anything than collecting a paycheck.It's just a job to them. Shame on you doctor!
