You will never find a better eye doctor or a nicer person. He has been my doctor for 27 years.

My Ophthalmologist referred me to Dr. Jonathan Kristan with a stye on my eye lid that had been treated with oral antibiotics and drops twice without success. Dr. Kristan was absolutely wonderful! He explained what it was, why it didn't go away with the antibiotics and made me aware of my options. a week later I went back to have the stye removed surgically. His tech did a beautiful job confirming laterality and going over every little detail. Dr Kristan did a phenomenal explaining what was being done during the procedure. At the end, he told me I should expect to get some swelling and bruising for two days. Well, I was back to work the following day and did not experience any bruising or swelling. To say that I'm pleased with the results is an under statement.

Dr Kristan is a warm, caring brilliant doctor who takes his time with his patients. He explains everything before a procedure and makes sure you are comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Kristan as a professional and compassionate doctor!

I was directed to Dr. Kristan for a consultation relative to a stye that would not heal on its own. The first time I visited his office he said I should schedule an appointment for a biopsy. The second time I visited his office and was scheduled for the biopsy the stye was virtually gone - I was reluctant to do the biopsy. I visted another ocuplastic surgeon in NYC and was told that nothing needed to be done and it was too small for a biopsy.

Had the opportunity to visit Dr. Kristan for a consult regarding my interest in cosmetic surgery on my lower eyelids. I was extremely impressed with the time I spent with Dr. Kristan. He took the time to explain to me that I was not a good candidate for the type of surgery I was seeking. He was honest about the possible outcome, answered all my questions, and gave me all the time I needed in order to answer my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Kristan to family and friends.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kristan for about 20 years. I'm so fortunate to have found him. He is probably in the top 5% in his field in the entire USA. He is impressive in his knowledge and care. There is no one I would trust my eyes with, but Dr. Kristan.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kristan's for around 10 years or so. He has never been anything but professional, caring and helpful. I just had cataract surgery and things couldn't have gone better. Between Dr. Kristan's expertise, and manner, as well as the entire staff's expertise and professionalism, I couldn't have been happier. I never felt rushed or dissatisfied in any way. I've been Dr. Kristan's patient since 2007 due to an over-active Thyroid. He gave me so much information which helped save my thyroid while he continued to keep my eyes in check. After several years, I developed a fast growing cataract which he removed and implanted a lens which allowed me to see through my eye which previously I could barely see through since a child. His office is clean but his surgery center is beyond CLEAN!! His surgical personnel are caring, compassionate people throughout the entire procedure. I have always felt comfortable and know that Dr. Kristan knows exactly what to do to help my specific troubles.
