The ability to access high quality mental health services can be very challenging. Working with Dr. Ozden has been a pleasure. He is an experienced psychiatrist with a broad knowledge base who also possesses a non-judgmental and empathic demeanor. He provides clear explanations that support his clinical decision-making processes, yet remains open and flexible to hear patient and family concerns regarding same. I was suffering with anxiety/panic attack first time in my life and very desperate to find a good doctor who was easy to talk and can help with my issues immediately. I was recommended to several doctors specialized in anxiety/panick attack disorder and called them on the same day. Dr. Ozden was the first one who returned to my voice message in a hour and sat up an appt right away to see me. He made me feel so comfortable from the moment I met him. He even came outside the building when I was having trouble locating the office. My visit was not rushed and the doctor took the time to listen to my issues. We discussed options of treatment, and then he spent time discussing the pros and cons of each. He even checked in with me next day to make sure I was feeling much better.Dr. Ozden is fantastic, truly brilliant doctor. He has great insight and a warm and nurturing bedside manner. He represents a very unique combination that I really value!!! He is a very experienced, kind hearted, informative, compassionate and responsible doctor who is willing to go extra miles for his patient’s needs. Extremely attentive and genuinely wanted to help me with my issues.When I go see him for the follow up visit, he always takes his time and asks many questions in a very easy conversational style. He is so professional yet simultaneously such an easy going, warm and pleasant person that you will feel at ease immediately. I have a professional background in psychology myself and therefore know that many people can search for years until they find the right psychiatrist that will really listen and truly help. If that is the situation you are in then I strongly recommend Dr. Ozden. My recommendation is as close to a guarantee one person can make to another that he will and can help you. His fee is also very fair and if you do a brief analysis of other psychiatrists either in Manhattan or Edgewater, then you will see that his fee is an honest and competitive cost per session. I do believe that he takes a number of insurances but you'd have to call and find out what those are.
