List of Edward Shalts's Reviews
If you want to see what a narcissistic person looks like, you're in the right place - Dr. Shalts is the best example. On our first 25-minute phone visit, he talked about himself for 20 minutes, then he diagnosed me with bipolar depression (!?), although I turned to him with a slight blues about changes in my life (retirement) and prescribed me a strong medication, from which I stopped sleeping. On the second visit, he decided to put me on prozac and antidepressants, did not pay attention, was rude and did not listen to arguments. I do not recommend this doctor to anybody.
Terrible

Rude ,condescending, judgemental
Very unprofessional. Assumed that I was Chinese because of my "last name." Tried to debate me about some things and asked me to cite sources. I wasn't interested in debating so I declined.
I asked to be evaluated and he told me no . When he only spoke to me for 2 minutes ? How do you decline a evaluation when you don’t know anything about the person ? He said I according to my history I’m just bipolar and that’s it ? So I can’t be bipolar and have adhd ? How do you know I haven’t been hiding my adhd to prevent being prescribed and I’m just coming out to finally get help regardless of the stigma ? He started going on about being board certified and that “he doesn’t have to take this from me “ when all I said to him was I tried to take the medicine the way he was prescribed and it doesn’t work , he felt like his board certified was in questioning ? Rude condescending
Very unprofessional and rude doctor.
One of the best doctors in the world easy to talk to listens . And is considerate of how you feel and how to help. Verified patient mdemarco
Would give zero stars if I could. Very rude, condescending and unprofessional.
This doctor is horrible. He was great at first, but my condition got worse. At first he provided great care, but after a while he refuses to listen to your input. He makes you feel like garbage. I like to know what I’m putting in my body. It’s like he knows me better than I do, which is utter bs. I told him I was having some side effects with the meds he gave me, and he said it was necessary and even compared me to his other patients. What professional doctor does that? I should be treated as an individual, not compared to other patients. He needs to listen to my concerns, not put them to the side. He is also very rude. I have a tendency to panic and he just makes me feel like it’s unjustified.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
