This doctor has helped me tremendously with my medical problem. I absolutely trust him and have been using him as my endocrinologist specialist.
I do not recommend this Doctor because about 2years ago I have surgery and I need it in Endocrinology I made an appointment with Dr Lala provided all my medical history then I follow up with a second appointment just to find out that he was no longe in Jersey City he did not inform his patients where he was going to practice I don't think a professional Doctor that took an oath to help people should behave this way with patients that are disabled
Dr. Lala is a very nice and kind physician IF you can meet with him. Upon my initial visit I had a 3 hour visit. It was extreme but I chalked it up to thoroughness? However upon my follow up visit I sat in the waiting room (which is filthy)for over 2 hours. Then I was brought in to be questioned on medical history ALL OVER AGAIN. They had a system change. This is understandable but to have his own staff tell you it will be another 2 hours until he can see you is INSANE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND FRANKLY abusive. I NEVER POST reviews but to waste someone's time and then when the staff is questioned as they are hanging out, on their cells, and basically chatting makes you question...WHO RUNS THE OFFICE? They were not apologetic. They were very matter of fact=NOT PROFESSIONAL. Why make an appointment I ask? The response was it always takes long with Dr. Lala. If you have 3 patients and you are with them for 30 minutes a piece that is still less time than the wait! If you need an ENDO PLEASE AVOID YOURSELF THE AGGREVATION.
Wait time is more than 2 hours. They keep changing the appointments and drag it forever.
I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. Wait is long. The girls always answer that you have one ore two people ahead of you as you watch give six people leave the office. The only consolation that I can give is that Mary and Amy are good at what they do.
Waited 2+ hours after the appointment was confirmed the day before. Zero respect given about the patients wait time. Staff are clueless. The delays are so chronic that everyone is grumpy. Stay away if you value your time.
THE WORST OFFICE I HAVE EVER SEEN! 0 STARS! I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes only to be called by a nurse and told that I would have to wait at least another 1 hour and 30 minutes with no guarantee. I asked the nurse why I have to wait so long and why no one told me and why my appointment was made so early even though I was not to be admitted for at least another 3 hours and she replied, QUOTE "Oh we don't tell patients, but there is a wait, there is always a wait". Their staff even had the nerve to lie to me and say that they were "filing charts" the entire time, which is the biggest load of bull I have ever heard. We walked out and I was angry enough punch through their wall. I was told by neurologists and many doctors to try to have less stress and this "doctor's" office did the exact opposite. I never saw a doctor, my mom left work early and I had to skip part of school, did not eat, and wasted an overall 4 hours. Hot, no space, unsanitary, severely overbooked. WORST OFFICE EVER
It's always crammed wall to wall with patients waiting - an extraordinarily long time - late into the night. Often there is not even enough chairs and people wait on the stairs inside and out. It's rare to get an actual appointment with Dr. Lala.
I actually have to see one of the doctors that works for him. I have hypothiroidism since I was a kid and the only thing they do is send me for a blood work and follow up every three months. Visits are not very long, the place is small, dirty, and crowded. I won't recommend this place/doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
