Although my surgery and results went well, getting an appointment and dealing with the rude front desk staff at this office has been a nightmare. Ive made appointments months in advance and have been asked to wait over an hour to be seen for a post-op appointment which is strictly rude and unacceptable. After bringing it to the front desks attention, I was told I was more than welcome to wait or reschedule because “The doctors busy and running behind”. Will not be going there for any reason anymore, RUN.
The doctors are very professional and seem caring, but the real problem with this practice is their front staff - they carry themselves in an unprofessional manner, constantly cutting you off as you try to explain why you're calling. It happened to me recently, as i was trying to speak to either to my doctor, or the more experienced front staff person about a prescription w/refills, that wasn't ...
I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in. The staff goes out of their way to make the patient feel comfortable. I made the decision to go with Dr Nihalani for my weight loss surgery after going to his office and meeting him and his staff. I am down 90 lbs since March 4 and it’s all due to the team in Dr. Nihalani office.
I am sure The doctor is well qualified however the people in his office are not very nice. Because I cancel an operation a surgery' they refuse to talk to me that I canceled because I have heart disease and I blood pressure and the anesthesiologist issues because I had heart disease and high blood pressure. You go into this office and you tell them you want to lose weight the doctor will send you for A vitamin weight loss blood test and if you are on Medicare it will cost you over $800 because some of the tests are not covered by Medicare before forewarned be careful what you say in his office.
I had a major problem with the people in his office. they sent me for a blood test at Labcorp a number of different items about 13. for three of the items they sent the wrong codes. All the items in the blood test should be covered by Medicare and would be covered by Medicare if they had sent the right codes. When I asked them to correct the problem they told me you are on your own. I suspect number reasons for this reprisal and discrimination. I canceled an operation since the anesthesiologist had issues with me having heart disease and high blood pressure. i'm officially classified disabled. I suffer from a number of mental health problems schizophrenia paranoia mood swings. I've had panic attack and anxiety attacks I am bipolar. I got the distinct impression because of this, they feel there is nothing I can do about it. They' are probably right. The only thing I can do is write a review. I will attempt to a file a complaint with the division of civil rights in New Jersey. I suspect due to the nature of my disability they will ignore me. this will not be the first time. I tried this with the ADA in Washington DC and the New Jersey division of discrimination in Newark. it went absolutely nowhere.
Staff are very rude. Made appointment online on a Friday, Monday got a call about insurance and asked me to text info - I texted images of insurance and additional details, next day got a call saying insurance was ok, but wanted to know what I was meeting the doctor for - which I then told her. Go to day of appointment and they know nothing and say I did not have appointment and don't take the insurance cause they don't pay them. Never received notification they don't take the insurance before that.
I never got to see the doctor because the website and staff are a disaster, you can just book appointments online when there is no availability and then when you speak to the doctors office the book you the wrong appointment I’m not wasting my time.
I had a consultation and the lady just talked about cost of packages . 2 weeks later I go to appt and they had new lower promotion at cheaper rate and the lady at desk said I wasn’t a new customer and wouldn’t goner it. Never been to this place. Went for consultation and they were charging me double ( $400) for Morpheus when they have promotion for $199. Very unprofessional. Lots of excuses so I walked out. Horrible experience and felt like they just wanted money .
Staff is soo unprofessional ive never heard more gossip about patients while waiting in the waiting room. They don't communicate and the aesthetician is soo unprofessional and not qualified for this job she has no clue. Beware before coming here if you want your business out there to the world!!!

The aesthetician is not qualified for this position she has no idea what's she's doing and super rude! She has so much going on in her personal life because that's all she talks about its uncomfortable!!! Beware if you want your business out there!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
