After waiting an hour to see Dr Lazar. He came into the same exam room with a group of 5 interns that scared my ASD son. No one told us they all were coming or asked if we were ok with it. So he would not corporate. After spending 5 minutes with him and having my son leaning on me and not doing a scoliosis exam he said his scoliosis was bad. We were not even there for that and he has been tested for it by his pediatrician and at school. No one has had any concerns. When I asked how he could tell since my son was sitting in a ball. He said he was an expert.

HE was responsible for the death of our son. Do not bring your child to him. Made medical mistakes that caused his death.

Dr. Lazar operated on my daughter and we had wonderful results. He is a very competent surgeon. His bedside manner on our initial visit was good and he made us feel comfortable. However, on the day of surgery and two visits afterward, he lacked warmth and was businesslike. It would have made my daughter feel more comfortable with a little more compassion in the post op period, but overall I would recommend him highly. The nurses in Morristown Hospital were top notch and helped to make our experience so much better.
