Dr. Chen is a great surgeon, he did an outstanding surgery in my hand, kind, empathic and knowledgeable about his profession. I feel very grateful to Dr. Chen.

Overall, poor experience. Waited outside in the reception hall for 1 hour. Waited inside the exam room for 15 minutes. Needed to fill out about 8-9 pages with my name on each page. It is difficult to describe the whole history on questionnaire they give to fill out; I expected that the doctor would ask history himself but he did not. Yet, just based upon the papers I filled out, he came with a diagnosis and right away started to tell me about the operation he was going to do. The examination was very brief and hardly convincing. He did not explain the reason etc. about the problem I went there for; when I asked questions, the nurse gave me a sheet to read for each question/issue I asked. The approach of the doctor, especially to a new patient, was neither friendly nor compassionate. He may be a good technical surgeon but I decided not to go for surgery with him as I could not establish good confidence in him as a doctor and expert professional.

Dr. Chen was excellent, very knowledgeable. He listened to me; examined me & explained things in understandable terms. Also, the medical assistant and X-ray tech were helpful & professional. I had an excellent experience.

The office is run very efficiently and each doctor there specializes in a specific part of the body. Dr. Chen is accomplished, smart, easy to talk to, and available for questions. I had a great experience.
