Jawad Kirmani's Online Review Report Card

Where to begin with the ordeals of dealing with Dr. Kirmani's office. First appointment after waiting for a month somehow didn't exist when we arrived. Got in to see Dr. And a procedure was scheduled. Had the procedure and go for the follow-up appointment for the results. Surprise! The appointment was canceled on us. They claim we were notified but once again we were not. We weren't called and the appointment is still active in the patient portal online. A serious health situation is treated as non chalant with an "OH well" attitude. They're always ready to reschedule yet another appointment that will be canceled or completely non-existent when you arrive. Disappointed that a serious health issue is treated this way. Spend aittle time in the waiting room and you'll see arguments with the front desk mirroring our experience. So this is not an isolated incident. Sorry to say

After my husband was discharged from the hospital we found ourselves without guidance and direction on what to do to prevent future episodes. Dr. Kirmani was God sent. He took the time to review all the tests and most importantly to listen to our concerns. You know you’re in good hands with a doctor who is extremely knowledgeable but also caring.

Dr. Kirmani and his entire staff are terrific. No one rushes through explanations, all questions get answered and all this is done in a timely manner

An amazing doctor and surgeon! He saved my brother's life. And, he has such compassion. We were truly blessed to have gotten him at JFK. He investigated and took the appropriate action to dissolve the clot in my brother's carotid artery so he could then insert a stent to expand the blood flow.

Since my very first ever dissection, Dr. Kirmani has been by far the most helpful. He is patient, an excellent listener, and extremely knowledgeable which allows his feedback to be very informative concerning one’s circumstance. If I have a question about one thing he offers a plethora of recommendations & solutions. I would recommend the JFK Neuroscience unit to anyone that has had a stroke or neurovascular issues SIMLPLY because of the integrity, wisdom and excellence demonstrated by Dr. Kirmani. It is my good luck that I am in good hands, Dr. Kirmani Javad. His approach to diagnose the cause of my Stroke, was very scientific. His treatment and advise has improved my health, a lot in short period of time. I think him as an asset for the hospital.

If I had to recommend anyone to a Neurosurgeon- It would most definitely be Dr. Kirmani. I can't say one bad word about him, If I did, I would have to have my brain examined (hahaha). Truly, he is the best doctor I've ever had to deal with ( i had to have other doctors evaluate me) and no one can ever take his place.
