Dr Paragioudakis is the very best spine Dr in the state on N.J. His staff are pleasant, efficient & make every effort to schedule quickly & answer all Your questions. If you need a call back it is made in a very timely manner. Their waiting room is virtually empty as his staff schedules so you are not sitting & waiting. During this Covid 19 every measure is taken to insure your safety health & exposure. I trust Dr Paragiodakis he listens & will take every measure to avoid an invasive treatment unless that is the best option for you to find comfort & have a good quality of life. He explains all treatments & options. He truly the BEST.

I am currently 34 years old and have been a patient of Dr. P since I was 19 or 20. I have a permanent work injury and at 20 years old I thought I would be wheelchair bound. I had 2 very large herniated discs that caused me to lose quality of life at a very young age. At 21 years old Dr. P gave me my life back. This man saved me from a lifetime of tremendous pain. Before surgery I could not move. I could not sit, stand, lay, bend at all, my leg would go numb and would give out on me. I would cry in pain every min of everyday. Dr. P tried his very best to keep me out of surgery until it was inevitable. He truly cares about his patients. He never once brushed me off. He always explained everything to me so I would understand. I never left his office with unanswered questions. This man is smart. There are very few drs that I trust with my life. Dr. P is #1. I was able to go on with my life and have 2 children. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Paragioudakis. The best of the best.

Amazing is the single word to Describe the team Dr. Paragioudakis has assembled at Orthopaedic Spine Specialists Of NJ. The testing of the problem was thorough, the recommendation was clear. Scheduling of emergency surgery over a holiday weekend in the middle of a pandemic you would expect there to be issues, there were none. What the team accomplished with the hospital admission, schedulIng of the surgery and early release to reduce exposure to me, was amazing. I will be eternally grateful. After surgery Dr. P described the procedure so I understand it. Just starting recovery but the team follow through exceeds expectations. Grateful for this team.

Five weeks ago I had an episode severe back and leg pain and couldn't get out of bed. Dr. P called me on a Sunday afternoon, arranged for me to be taken to the ER the next morning where within 2 hours I had x-rays and an MRI. Then on the way home, he called to have me come to his office for an epidural. Bottom line 5 weeks later and a second epidural is that I'm 60-75% better. I may still need spinal surgery and have gone to some of the most prestigious surgeons in New York City for both consultations and epidurals. Dr. P's epidural experience was like a Cadillac as opposed to a Volkswagen If I DID need surgery, I would have Dr. P do it. He and his office are great - he spent time with me - never rushed - answered all my questions. I have been a physical therapist for 37 years and know the risks of spinal surgery. Dr. P alleviated my anxiety and his confidence and bedside manner is very reassuring.

Dr P and his staff are amazing! Dr P has the best bed side manner I have ever experienced. He is kind, explains everything thoroughly and in a way that makes sense. I cant say enough great things about him. Anyone with back/neck issues he is the man! Cant recommend him enough!

I found Dr Steven Paragioudakis via a referral from commuter buddy. Her husband broke multiple vertebrae in his back and was reconstructed by Dr Paragioudakis. I figured if he worked that well on my friend then he should do great on my wife. She was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2010. After multiple non surgical procedures , she has a consult with Dr Paragioudakis. He was super pleasant and nice. He explained all options. My wife under went a discectomy on c5/c6. Surgery and recovery were successful. I never was expecting to need Dr Paragioudakis for myself but I was glad I had him. After a recent work injury my lower back was busted. I had a severe L4/L5 and L5/S1 herniation. He does not recommend surgery at this time and we are treating with epidural shots. I am taking well and surgery may be avoided. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Paragioudakis to ANYONE.
