I have had asthma my entire life (32yrs). Dr. Golbert is the best doctor I have had since I left my pediatrician. Dr. Golbert really takes the time to listen not just to my lungs, but to what i say I'm experiencing health-wise and from the start he paid attention to my history with different medications and treatments. I've been going to the Center for Asthma and Allergy for over 2 years now and seen 3 different doctors. Golbert is the best! The reception staff and nurses are great!

He is the worse Dr I have ever met. Does not listen to you and comes down with the wrong diagnosis. He came up with a severe conclusion that scared the hell out of me while I was telling him I had none of the symptoms associated with his diagnosis. Although I am healthy he prescriped so many heavy medications. Fortunately I went to see other Doctors for a second and third opinion. They both confirmed I had nothing. What a relief. I would strongly suggest you to think twice before visiting him.

He was a covering doctor while my regular doctor was away. He hardly spoke to me. I had to tell him the medications in order for him to prescribe them even though he had my chart. In addition - he didn't allow for any refills. In addition - when filling in my son's school paperwork he wrote down plans I was not comfortable with and that he did not discuss with me first. Now I will have to return to see my regular doctor earlier than I had anticipated.

I would not recommend this office. Dr. Golbert utilized unsafe practices, including touching the inside of the biohazard container for needles without gloves, then touching my skin immediately after! Every week, he would tell me the tests were inclusive and I needed more testing, however the tests he wanted to administer were in no way related to the problem which originally brought me to the office. At one point when I had blood work done, he said he would call to discuss the results and never did. Not to mention the frequency at which appointments are cancelled or they are short staffed. This is the only negative review I have ever written for a doctor. I truly believe that if you are considering going here, you should probably go elsewhere.
