Professional service and outstanding care!
After getting a prescription for new lenses and spending $500 on them, I still can't see good. I went back to this "so called" doctor geller and he was very rude, dismissive, didn't listen to a word I had to say, didn't explain anything to me and said very bluntly and without any feelings that he can't do anything for me and sent me somewhere else. It's terrible how doctors behave and treat elderly people. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Dr. Geller was caring, knowledgeable and professional. He solved my problem and provided excellent care.
My husband & I had appts for routine eye checkups made months in advance. However, my husband's allergies were really bothering him (april) and he decided not to go. I went and received the 3rd degree from the nurses warning me Dr. Geller would not see me because "how do I know my husband's allergies weren't Covid." They suggested I leave even though my temp was normal and have no allergies or was I sick. Since I drove one hr to get there,I refused and waited for the Dr. When he arrived, masked up and paranoid, he interrogated me to the 3rd degree about my husband's allergies. He insisted I go home cause he couldn't risk examining my eyes as my husband's allergy symptoms could really be Covid!!! Warning - there is no way this neurotic, paranoid, scared Dr. could perform a proper eye examine requiring very close contact. Be careful and don't sneeze or cough during the exam, he might have you arrested! He also questioned if I was vaccinated intimating that would be another reason not to examine me!
There is absolutely no way anyone could be properly examined by this man. He is completely terrified of Covid late April 2021! Drove 1 hr for routine eye exam and he sent me home refusing to do a routine eye exam because my husband has seasonal allergies and Geller feared my husband's allergies could actually be Covid. He was repulsed and demeaning. He even intimated he was reluctant to examine my eyes if I wasn't vaccinated! His office was a ghost town with employees uptight and oppressed. And they took my temp and it was normal!
Waited 3 hours to be seen. I heard another person with her daughter who had been there 2 hours say they were only going to wait another 5 minutes. I wasn't covered under vision insurance and they did not they me until After I was seen. A office worker came in retroactively to force me to sign a paper stating that I was made aware of non-coverage At the beginning of the appointment. She said she forgot to give it to me. In actuality seemed like a scam to force you to pay $200 out of pocket! I complained that my contacts were too moist and loose to Dr.Geller and he said "it will happen sometimes that they fall out". What?! Like that's a normal frequent occurrence and natural. What if I'm driving and my contacts fall out?! I could crash, injuring myself and others, cause a pile up, traffic. Not to mention go blind from glass in my eyes. He's very misogynistic and rude. He also makes weird recordings on the intercom type thing in his office or maybe he was talking to someone about me during the appointment.
I am supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Geller some day in April. Could you tell me if I still have one or has it been postponed? Ed Hillermeier
Had cataract surgery About 3 months ago still having problems with my Vision
The most kind and caring physician. He has been taking care of my mother and father for several years. He’s performed surgery on both and we had a wonderful experience. I can’t recommend him enough!!
Dr. Geller gave me a A false diagnosis of the coma and said I needed surgery immediately. He scheduled an appointment within five days of his diagnosis. As he did no testing for black women Other than to look in Mayeye. I went to a Lucoma specialist who found no evidence at all of glaucoma. I know of one other woman who had the same experience. Well he may be a good general ophthalmologist, I have to wonder how he falsely diagnosed a common problem and why did he schedule surgery so quickly. By the way he told me I could go blind quickly and that surgery was almost an emergency

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
