This is absolutely the best eye doctor in the area. Dr. Fishkin is so knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest science abd technology. Inna Medow has a unique talent to find the best glasses for you. She considers everything, from your face shape, to skin color and everything in between to come up with the best shape glasses for you. Everyone from my family comes here and everyone gets a great experience every time. I highly recommend this place to anyone that has any issues with their vision. Many thanks to Dr. Fishkin, Inna, and everyone in the office for your constant outstanding service.

Dr. Fishkin was amazing with my 7 month old son. He was very thorough and patient. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor for their baby or an adult.

On 3/10/22 I had my annual visit with Dr. Fishkin.  I have been going to him for at least 10 years and have always been very pleased.On this date I was advised by Cynthia that she could not accept my insurance without a "letter of referral".  I explained that I couldn't reschedule since I am dependent upon a driver for my visits.    I paid $85.00 out of pocket as if Ihad no insurance.  Upon returning home I called my insurance co. and theysaid I did NOT need a letter of referral.  For months I have been trying to get reimbursed for the insurance amount without success.  They require acorrect diagnosis code, procedure code/revenue code, and Doctor's IRS#.Many calls to Cynthia have not solved the problem.

Let’s just start by saying Dr. Fishkin is an excellent doctor; a real thorough and expert and I would have never given this rating to any service provider, unless there was some huge problem. Very unfortunately his front desk lady is so rude, unprofessional and arrogant, to a point where it is almost impossible to have a proper scheduling conversation with; Never mind the fact that the appointment wait time is nearly 4 months, when I came to my appointment, she sent me back as my old insurance was still appearing on her system and “there was nothing she could do about it”… She promised she will squeeze me in when an appointment gets canceled. Needless to say she never did; I had to reach out again and remind her, and she did squeeze me. But while she told me to come on Tuesday, she actually set me for Friday… I came on Tuesday; she was rude, almost angry at me, and again pitching me about the fact that my old insurance is still showing and that she don’t know if the billing would accept a different insurance when the old one is still “on the system” (I even provided her with a formal termination letter from the old insurance…but she didn’t seem to care). All along - she had been rude and unfriendly. As a 4-years patient of this incredible doctor, it is very unfortunate that I have to leave him, and nice to another doc, because of the awful experience with his front desk receptionist. Too bad…

I’d like to start off by saying Dr. Fishkin is amazing! He is extremely thorough and even squeezed me in as an emergency when I was having an issue with my eyes. However, the reason I’m only giving this 2 stars is his staff at the front desk were extremely rude. My mother and I called the day before and scheduled an appointment with the woman at the front desk. She took down my contact details, home address, insurance, confirmed my appointment, and said to arrive 15 minutes early. When I got there the next day (15 minutes early) I was told by another woman that they did not have my appointment in the system. She got the individual from the back who spoke with me the day before and she claimed we said we were going to get back to her on the time, which was not correct. We confirmed it on the phone with her. I had another appointment to get to after this, so I asked, since it was their mistake if they could try and squeeze me in quickly. The women at the front desk said, she had no idea how long it will take and that I would just need to wait. Thankfully Dr. Fishkin only had me wait 20-30 minutes and made it a priority to get me in there, since it was an emergency. When I got out after my appointment, the woman was extremely short and rude as I was paying my co-pay. I thought it was extremely unprofessional. Sadly, due to this experience with the front desk I will not be back.

Short wait time, knowledgeable Dr pleasantly discusses my conditions, very friendly, nice professional staff, Dr spends enough time with me. I especially appreciate that he doesn't charge extra for stuff most other MDs do- contact lens check, refraction. Just my co-pay. For my family of 4 seeing him once a year, this saves us alot of $$. And so close to home. Only issue is he's so good we had to wait several months for appointments. Call in advance. A++

We used to go to Dr. Fishkin, he is very thorough. I called recently to make an appointment. The office person taking appointments was so rude and short. She told me there was an appointment 4 months from now. I explained it was urgent and she replied that is all we and hung up in me. This lady has always had the worst people skills but this time was it. I will never go back!

We tried to take our son here to get his eyes checked out. The receptionists are the most rude people unhelpful couldnt even answer a simple question as to whether or not they take our insurance. Doctor comes out arms crossed yea why don’t you call your insurance company you gotta find out when that’s the receptionists job simeple question we booked an appt with you guys because you said you took our insurance but you can’t guarantee you take it or what is covered makes absolute no sense just out to get your money we walked out what a huge waste of time I would never recommend this place to anyone worst doctors encounter we’ve ever had in our life do yourself a favor a book another opto not worth your time.

The most unprofessional receptionist staff doctor they couldn't tell us whether or not they take our insurance and told us we need to find out which was crazy. The worst they are out to get your money I would never recommend anyone to come here . Waste of my time the most rude staff unhelpful and told us they don't know how do you not know if you take our insurance or not yes or no question

Excellent care and great service. I really like Dr. Fishkin and his practice. He is always very attentive and seems to go above and beyond.
