I warn you.. DO NOT USE THIS DR? A simple endo years ago and I almost died. When I woke I told the nurse I had chest pressure she called Levine over and he said " it's probably air" and sent me home. I soon called him and told him I was in intense pain and could hardly breath. He said " you probably have a leak and hurry to the ER in Paramus they will be waiting". So after an Emergency Thoracotomy, Two chest tubes, a drain, NG tube, Catherized and IV galore I was able to leave after Eight excruciating nights. He came to see me wearing a Baseball cap and acting like we are buddies, very weird. I am writing this now because I am scarred for life and he just keeps practicing. Not right at all. He cut my esophagus almost in half and my thoracic cavity was filling up with fluid. I was dying. He created this ,now I have to suffer for the rest of my life. Be Warned.

Dr. Levine puts you at ease. He gives great advice and doesn’t rush you before or after a procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Levine and his staff.

Dr. Levine is very accessible and knowledgeable. I’ve been his patient since 2000 and can always rely on his medical advice and great bedside manner.

I am a current patient of Dr Levine. When I started my care with him I was in a pretty rough place both physically and mentally. I have been lucky to have Dr Levine in my corner since. He is an experienced and knowledgable gastroenterologist and a great person in general. He has given me great guidance for my care, and put me in the path towards recovery. There are a couple of things I would like to call out about Dr Levine:?1. He is very knowledgable and gives reliable, state-of-the-art medical advice. ?2. He creates an environment, where I feel comfortable to ask questions and discuss my treatment in detail. He always listens to me, answers my questions, takes notes and clarifies my issues. I believe he has strong empathy for his patients.?3. He has always been reachable and responsive when I had follow-up questions or new issues that I wanted to discuss. The same is true for his staff, who have been always helpful throughout my care.?Overall, I am grateful to have him as my doctor.
