Dr.pizillo is the baddest ortho. On the plant... I'll give him 100 & more stars...simply the best...nuff said..
I had to have surgery on my hand after breaking it walking my dog. I stumbled into Englewood Hospitals urgent care, and they got me in with Dr Pizzillo the next day. Dr Pizzillo is attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, and spends time not only answering all your questions but explaining everything in depth. Such a great experience with him and his office.
Overall a terrible experience. Dr. Pizzillo rushed through my appointment, dismissed any concerns I had about my elbow injury, and left no time for any questions at the end. Just abruptly left. Did not even bother going over the x-ray images with me. He went immediately to talks about injections and surgery and was dismissive about physical therapy, advice that was at odds with the two orthopedic surgeons I later consulted with. Three months removed and PT has made all the difference. I was also erroneously charged for a $40 splint that I did not purchase. The same splint goes for $15 on Amazon. Furthermore, their billing department is a nightmare to deal with. Take your business elsewhere
Came in to get my shoulder checked, and also wanted to make some questions about my flat feet as I was going to see an orthopedic specialist. I was told he only checked from the waist up. Ok, still went ahead with just a shoulder check, which went great! Englewood health's billing department is the main issue. I have had trouble with them in the past, but this time it really is annoying me. My insurance has an office in NYC and one in NJ. They tried to bill the one in NYC and were denied. I contacted my insurance as well as englewood health's billing department. Multiple insurance agents have tried contacting them multiple times and left multiple voice-mails explaining to them what the issue was and how to properly bill them. It's really hard to get a hold of anyone from billing, and if you do they then claim to transfer you to someone else and hang up the phone. It is as if these people are willingly trying to screw people over. I keep getting letters about a 'past due' bill even after being contacted so many times from my insurance company. It's ridiculous, do they even listen to the voicemails?
Excellent experience with Dr Pizillo! I tore my distal biceps tendon doing BJJ and needed to get surgery within 3 weeks of the injury to maximize my recovery chances. Dr. Pizillo and William Jane PA rushed me in and moved mountains to get the tests and surgery set up within my short window. The surgery went well and Dr Pizillo took his time answering my many questions. He is always thorough in our post-op update appointments. I highly recommend Dr Pizillo!
While Dr. Pizzillo might be considered a good Dr. as part of his practice, he regularly double books his patients, if you want a Dr. who is not rushed to see another patient at the same time as your appointment Dr. Pizzilli is not for you.
I had multi fractures on my collar bone five months ago. Extremely frustrated and hesitant about a surgery or not. Dr Michael Pizzillo instilled confidence in me and now I can spread my arms , jump and fly! I was in real good hands! The crew is excellent!
Caring, thoughtful, thorough , highly recommended? Dr Barnea
Dr. Pizzillo operated on my broken wrist; he did an excellent job. Two months later, I don't even think about my wrist anymore. It feels perfect. He is not only an excellent surgeon, but a compassionate, patient human being. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend him.
I had my hand surgery with Dr Pizzillo and I must say it was a success. Dr Pizzillo is a very good doctor

It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
