Unbelievable! How she gets a 4 star rating? I brought my Mother there 2 times and she did nothing! When I said something to my Mother's Doctor he said that he's heard similar stories. Hopefully the new Doctor I will be taking her too will be 100% better!

Dr. Scherl is competent and extremely knowledgeable. Demeanor is totally professional, but can immediately become warm and engaging. My opinion is 5 stars, and I am a Professor of Surgery with tremendous experience with physicians.

Dr. Scherl is very direct and upfront physician who is a good diagnostician. My experience with her was very good. Wait time was minimal- which is always good to know the doctor values your time. She went in and got down to business very quickly. Addressed all my concerns and sent me on my way. All in all , that’s what you look for in a doctor and Dr. Scherl delivers. I will be continuing to seek her advice whenever I need dermatological advice.

How does she get 4.5 stars with so many negative comments? I have had two unpleasant experiences with her over the years, one involving my son, and one personal experience when she was called in as the dermatologist on call while I was a patient at Englewood Hospital. I find her cold, condescending and dismissive.

Very disappoint, I still haven't gotten any treatment after 1 month since I visited this clinic. My pills was not approved by insurance company and then I noticed them, CVS also noticed them. I want to change another pill, but they won't reply you, forever! Even you have left messages 5 times!

She is a great dermatologist but her staff overbooks appointments and we have to often wait an hour to see her for an appointment which is ridiculous.

VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL STAFF. NEEDED A REFILL FOR MY PRESCRIPTION AND THEY WONT LET ME SPEAK WITH THE DOCTOR. THEY WANT ME TO WAIT TWO WEEKS JUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT EVEN I TOLD THEM MULTIPLE TIMES THAT I NEED THE PRESCRIPTION RIGHT AWAY. NOBODY LISTENED AND ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS WHY I DIDN'T COME BACK FOR A FOLLOW UP YEARS AGO. THE DOCTOR TOLD ME I ONLY HAVE TO COME BACK FOR A FOLLOW UP IF IT DOESN'T GET BETTER. Although I wasn't too impressed with my first visit one year prior, I went back for a cancer screening his year. Dr Scherl was even more disconnected on this visit despite my disclosure of having had a dianosis, surgery and treatment for a serious cancer since my last visit. The cancer screen was, in my experience barely adequate. Other concerns expressed by me to Dr Scherl were brushed off with an attitude of diminishment. Unfortunate. Will not do this a third time!
