Did not trust Dr. Richards treatment plan and made me feel uncomfortable. Turns out with new psychiatrist, now on the medication that Dr. Richards refused, that has improved the condition. He would not listen. He said go his way or find someone else. Glad I made the right decision to move on. We’re in a better place.

He is kind in helping with non-therapy related tasks I had difficulty performing and even delivered my medication to me and had sessions in our home. He is available for tele care even on weekends. However, the medication he prescribed did not help me despite several changes to it. Often the medication made me have diarrhoea and gain weight. Also, he is silent throughout sessions, particularly, over the phone. He gives no feedback but says that is not his job but that of a life coach. Usually he is silent while I talk and then he tells me, "It is time to wrap up. We will talk again soon". Somehow, I expected more than that and to feel better after almost one year of therapy. When I asked, he said at least I am not in the hospital. I think I need more than that.

My husband was everything to me and I needed someone to help with him with his addiction problem. He was destroying our marriage and life together coming home all hours of the night and sometimes not coming home at all. He was also financially using all our income for drugs. After 7 years of this and different doctors I finally got the right help from this Doctor and we are one year into recovery now. We are not perfect but very happy with our outcome.

The Doc was a match made in heaven. Needed a doctor in an emergency and he was there in a flash for my son. We had a virtual appointment in less than an hour. I tried 7 doctors this day and Dr Richards was available and was really good with my son.

Dr Richards was extremely helpful. We highly recommend him. He was extremely successful with our daughter during the pandemic. He was always available and overall great with kids especially with our teenage daughter. If your looking for a Doctor thats good with kids he is perfect.

Dr Richards was fantastic. During the pandemic my son needed to see someone and know one was available. Dr Richards helped not only during a time in crises but on the weekend in which was the best life saving medicine we could of received. He's helped my son and my son now looks forward to appointments.
