Initially, I was inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, attributing issues to mere negligence. However, additional information has revealed a disturbing pattern of behavior, seemingly driven by greed, indicating a belief in being above the law and professional guidelines. His conduct not only crosses ethical boundaries but also showcases a significant abuse of power. Describing him as merely unethical understates the gravity of the situation; his professional competence is equally concerning. Regrettably, he falls short of the standards expected in psychiatry, making him one of the least skilled practitioners I have encountered.

My x wife hired this guy to do an evaluation on me. He is trying to say that I need a 12 step program for my drinking and Marijuana use. He does not know me at all. Had 2 sessions with him one of which was a virtual visit. My drinking and smoking is rare. I have 0 to 2 drinks a night with a max of 3 to 4 a week and smoke on occasion, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. That is hardly a problem if you ask me. I work at bars and restaurants where I see the same people drinking every night. That's a problem. Do not go to this man. He is the most arrogant pompous therapist I have ever met.

Dr. Mort Fridman is exceedingly kind and compassionate. He truly takes the time to listen to his patients and intuitively understand what they are going through. He has helped countless patients during his years in practice. His psychopharmacologic skills and psychotherapeutic skills are excellent. Anyone would be truly lucky to have him as their psychiatrist and psychotherapist.
