Although his office is in New Jersey, it’s quite easy to get to his offices from Manhattan, and it's definitely been worth it. Dr. Stefanovich is highly experienced. He doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all method but takes a very individual approach to treatment. Outside of the specific treatment, in my case a combination of therapy and medication, he is someone I can turn to as a “coach” from time to time. He provided me with tool and insights providing much need relief. I can highly recommend Dr. Stefanovich to anyone struggling with anxiety or looking for a compassionate, experienced therapist who listens and applies his knowledge to your personal situation.'

I have seen Dr. Stefanovich a number of times now and am very appreciative of his support and am finally on the mends. I tried to handle my periods of anxiety and depression through physical activity and ultimately through alcohol and prescription drugs, but it only got worse. Sleep deprivation further exasperated my symptoms. If you are is a similar situation, I can certainly recommend Dr. Stefanovich!

I can highly recommend Dr. Michael Stefanovich. He has very broad experience, both from the US and Europe, and has a high degree of ethics, which is important to me. He is patient, asks the right questions and listens. Not like others I have met that seem to diagnose you within the first 10 minutes.

Dr. Stefanovich is very well rounded. He is the first doctor I have had that does talk therapy and prescribes medication. I choose to take medication and he has taken his time to find the right one for me. He is an excellent listener and gives advice carefully and without judgement. He is one of the best doctors I have had to help me deal with my depression and anxiety.

Dr. Stefanovich is a very caring and compassionate Dr. He is an empathic listener and has given me the professional guidance and tools necessary to get through some very difficult times. His quick and skillful ability to address my specific needs and provide great coping skills has given me deeper insight and meaning ...putting me back on track with all the stresses I've been dealing with. Talk therapy along with his knowledge of making sure my medication is appropriate is a very important aspect of treat- ment. Dr. Stefanovich has helped me in so many ways. Dr. S. Is a very skilled and professional psychiatrist. I feel that he cares about me and my concerns. He offers sound advice, when appropriate. I value my relationship with him and would not hesitate to refer him to others.

Dr. Stefanovich is a kind, caring healthcare provider who specializes in both talk therapy as well as writing prescriptions, if needed. I have been a patient of his for the past two years and am so grateful to have found him when I was experiencing debilitating anxiety. He has given me many tools to put in my toolbox for when I encounter difficult situations, and he always listens with an open mind.
