Es un excelente médico le a salvado la vida a mi esposo que Dios lo bendiga siempre son mis mejores deseos 🙏💐
I am Victorino H Mendoza, 83 years old, and had a Type 1 Endoleak of an aortic graft. My abdominal artery can rupture anytime but cardiologist cannot allow an open surgery which I may not survive. In the midst of our hopelessness and as per suggestion of my sister nurse I started surfing thru the internet and found Dr. Bernik as a specialist on endoleak surgery. I immediately made an appointment and his explanation gave me the confidence that despite my age and other health issues he can do the surgery I needed. It was a difficult choice my family and I was reluctant to take but we have no other alternative at that time. Now I am on my road to full recovery and I am very happy that Dr Bernik took good care of me. I am very pleased to be under the care of an excellent vascular surgeon. I would strongly recommend Dr. Bernik for patients with the same health concerns as mine. Everyone in his staff did an excellent service as well.
At my age of 83, Dr Bernik did an aneurysm repair of the Type 1 endoleak of my aortic graft which is the only alternative left to correct my problem. I am very proud to say that he is an excellent doctor who closely monitored my progress during and after my two surgeries and am very pleased with his concerns and dedication to me as his patient. He had been vigilant of any incidental health isues that came along during my post op recovery and this made me feel comfortable and very happy that I had the chance to be under his care.
We were very disappointed during our visit with both Dr. Bernik and his staff (front desk, nurses, radiology tech).. they all lacked proper bedside manners and were extremely rude. We would never return to this practice again. Being a good doctor is showing some compassion, otherwise you are in the wrong profession.
I was referred to Dr. Bernik by Dr. Rosen, podiatrist and the entire experience was a nightmare. To start, his entire staff from the front desk to his nurses and x-Ray technician are all rude and arrogant. They all act like they do not want to be there and made me feel as if I was a bother. They would do well to remember that they are getting paid to do a job and showing some empathy could not hurt. His two clinic nurses, Courtney and I forget are pushy and have a very know-it-all condescending tone in which they talk down to you when you ask regular questions. And Dr. Bernik himself behaves as if he is doing you a favor by even being in the same room as you. While he may be a skilled surgeon, I will never return to see him and will never recommend him for his horrid bedside manners and the way in which he spoke to me. Also, he refused to call me back when I had an important question. He sent another to do the dirty work. If I could give him a ZERO, I would.
Horrible doctor, horrible staff, pushy know it all nurses who work with him and radiology was no better. Dr. Bernik is very condescending and arrogant. The wait times and office staff is rude and clearly hate their jobs. I will let everyone know of my experience. He is in the wrong profession and has the absolute worst bedside manners I have ever encountered! If I could give him and his staff 0 stars, I would.
He listens and answers all Questions. We feel very comfortable with him I recommend him highly
Excellent doctor, excellent nurses, excellent vascular team! My grandmother had to have an amputation and the team was very accommodating, professional and did such a clean amputation. Many people have complimented his work after seeing my grandmother's leg. Thank you!
From the moment you walk into the office to meet the receptionist you have a great feeling about the office Dr. Bernik makes you feel comfortable explains everything to you. I had two surgeries done on my legs. Before the surgeries I had tremendous pain in both my legs. Now I can walk forever with no pain at all. Thank you again Dr Bernik,Grace and the whole staff .
Dr.Bernik is a good surgeon from what I saw while my mom was in same day surgery. But as far as coming in for follow ups outpatient-- poor office and administrative staff.... If you come in for an appointment, expect to spend at least 2 hours in the waiting room. Poor scheduling. Why would they schedule you for a certain appointment time and then have the patient waiting 2+ hrs. No consideration as far as the patients diabetic needs or anything!!! Once my mom is cleared from this...we WILL be seeing a different vascular surgeon outpatient office!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
