List of Fair Lawn Women's Health Group's Reviews
I recently switched from a different group to Valley, particularly this office, and couldn't be happier! My only regret is not doing it sooner. Everything from scheduling my initial appointment, to the front desk staff, and the provider I saw was a 10/10 experience. I also want to note that the office is beautiful and extremely clean and modern. I saw Elizabeth Kowalski, APN, who was lovely and extremely knowledgeable! I did not feel rushed, and all of my questions and concerns were answered accordingly.
I've had good experiences here so far. The staff is nice, there's never much wait, and it's very clean. My only complaint is the wait time for annuals, you have to book a month to months in advance.
Great office and doctors!
I have gone to this office for both of my pregnancies and the care i received was very supportive and reassuring. The doctors and nurses i met with were all very professional and took great care to make sure i was always comfortable and answered all of my questions
Frankly, I’m pretty surprised by some of these reviews, albeit some are older. Of the 3000 plus times I’ve called, I think there was only ONE time I actually needed to save my place in line for a call back, in which they called me back within 10 mins. Every other time my call was immediately received. Not to mention anytime I’ve submitted a question through the online portal, I’ve gotten a response back within less than 2 hours from the doctors and nurses. I’m not sure if people are confusing this place with Valley MFM in Paramus because yes, those guys are near impossible to reach via phone unless you get an after hours operator to help get a doc or receptionist to call you back in the am for scheduling or medical questions. Otherwise, all the receptionists are so so sweet here and will absolutely work with you and your schedule. After having nightmarish, uncomfortable and belittling experiences with providers from Holy Name and Englewood/Axia Women’s Health as an OB patient, the valley doctors including Cohn, Zhang, Rosov, Garfinkle and the nurses have been nothing short of warm, compassionate and caring. I’m grateful I ignored the Google reviews and looked at the doctors’ reviews directly as it’s massively skewed. For as long as I’m in Bergen county, I plan to stay with this practice and these doctors.
Called over a month ago at least 6 times over a week and left three detailed messages. Never received a call back. Finally got a phone operator today and was met with unpleasant excuses. Was recommended by my OBGYN but will never be going there.
I’m personally a bit confused by the reviews, I have had a positive experience with the receptionist, the phlebotomist, the doctors and the RN. The responses of all these caretakers have been really positive, responsive and helpful. Especially with how many questions I’ve thrown, they’ve been very prompt to answer!
I was looking for a new Obgyn practice, and found some great recommendations for Elizabeth Kowalski online, and decided to give her a try. Elizabeth is fantastic! She immediately put me at ease, made me feel comfortable, was very personable and talked through the whole exam process. When doing a women’s health exam, you want someone who has great bedside manners and who you can trust. I love how I can make appointments online and that there is an interactive portal. The office waiting room is large, clean and modern. It’s safe to say I’ve found my new doctor’s office!
I made an appt in September for end of December, and during the initial phone call i confirmed with the person i spoke to that they were in network with my insurance plan. Two weeks prior to the appt, I was given a phone call that I had to reschedule without any explanation. I scheduled for the next available appt they had open, which was mid February, which would’ve been 6 months after initially calling. Then, mid January I get another call saying I have to reschedule AGAIN. The receptionist I spoke to was very nice and managed to get me a spot very soon after, HOWEVER after confirming if they took my insurance again, I was informed that I was actually out of network, despite being told several months ago that was not the case. Due to this, I was delayed by over 6 months in receiving care for an ongoing medical concern I had and had to find another office in the end. Office seems very disorganized, but at least the receptionist I spoke to in January was very nice and understanding.
From the front desk to the doctors I loved my experience here! Dr. Cohn delivered my daughter and omg she was amazing and really heard my plan. She was wonderful! The only issue is that there are few other doctors that see you so you don’t know who you’ll deliver with but each one of them gets to know you so you feel comfortable day of.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
