The PA was rather curt in her exam and gave as little information as possible about the source of my severe pain in hand wrist and arm. Also the office staff spelled my name completely wrong and ordered PT in stead of OTso a new order had to faxed. Nothing encouraged confidence in returning to this office.

I have terrible pain in my right shoulder and the PA was just wonderful. I would recommend Garden State Orthopaedic Group to anyone in distress.

Very nice person, but my appt was kind of a waste of time. I could have been told over the phone that I cannot have a second cortisone shot until December. The 2/3 minutes (total!) I was there (wait time and appointment!) was unfortunate and feels like an insurance grab. I took time off from work to make the appointment which was a total waste.

I had an appointment for procedure today. The Doctor made me feel so comfortable and very caring of how I felt. Everything went smooth as she said it would.

She's just great! Knowledgable and give painless shots.

When asked if I was there for my wrist, I said no, but that I was there because of the culmination of several issues. I was immediately met with a harsh, dismissive tone. The PA said she refused to treat me for anything other than my wrist, which was what the receptionist said I was there for. When I arrived, I was not asked to sign in or asked why I was visiting. When I called for the appointment, I stated I had been there as a patient in the past for my wrist, but that I was having pain in my knee/leg due to my pinched nerve and a month-old's fall. So, clearly, there was a breakdown of communication about why I was visiting. The PA did not consider asking what the problem was, or how I got hurt. Instead, she immediately told me she would not entertain "more than one issue" . A decent healthcare provider would listen first before writing off the patient! If her reasoning for not wanting to treat me for several things has to do with something like insurance coverage or office policy, then that could have been explained. Regardless, it is not appropriate to be treated so poorly when it was evident I was there with pain. When I asked, with all seriousness, if I was NOT going to be treated for the current pain I was experiencing but rather for an old, irrelevant issue, the PA stated in an exasperated tone, "so then what do you want to be treated for?" Then, when I went to get x-rays done at this facility, there were takeout containers full of food and strewn about on the X-RAY TABLE where patients lay for X-rays. This is unacceptable and unsanitary. Why is a patient examination room being used as a break room? I am truly full of regret that this was my experience, and that I was made to feel so inconsequential. I am sure this is not the norm and not how all patients are met with service, but I will never return to this practice.
