Terrible experience. I called the office before making the appointment to ensure that my routine check up would be covered by my insurance and they said it would be. I checked again at the front desk when I was there for my appointment and they assured me it would all be covered, I wouldn’t even have a co-pay. A week later I get a bill from lab Corp for testing they did. I had my insurance call them a total of 10 times to get this resolved (basically they gave the testing the wrong coding when they submitted it to lab corp). They refused to correct this and even hung up on me on the phone. Completely unprofessional. I even called lab Corp and all the office would have to do is call them and make the change over the phone. Their laziness is costing me a lot of money that I already pay for by paying for insurance.
I brought my teen dtr for first appointment and she was very anxious about it. Her period is very painful and we needed to do something about it.Dr Beloff was very passionate ,gentle and spent long time going over options for us.She and the office staff been concerned about my dtr privacy .They know that teenagers not telling moms everything, they asked me to leave the room at the time of the exam to make my dtr more comfortable.Best experience I could expect. The only problem with this office is the long waiting time inside of the room ,when you undressed and uncomfortable sitting on the table and waiting for the md.
Dr. Beloff was incredibly short and unfriendly. She entered the room and did not even introduce herself (this was my first appointment) before barking at me and asking if I had one sexual partner. During the visit, she had poor communication skills and made me feel very uncomfortable. When I declined being tested for STDs, (I had just been tested) she made a condescending remark. A dr.'s office is not a place anyone should feel uncomfortable or judged, best to try a different doctor!
Do not use this Dr! Because of her my daughter ended up in the emergency room not once but twice! The first time she failed to tell my daughter she had a urinary tract infection so it spread to her kidneys. The second time she had a huge cyst that she wanted to wait a week to drain. My daughter was in excruciating pain. Besides that she is also the least personable Dr ever.
First time with this Dr for my annual exam. She tells me everything feels great, both ovaries feel good. REALLY? That's odd cause I only have 1! I had major surgery - it was all detailed in my file. Maybe she should have opened it.
