Had a problem with a lot of the maintenance drugs I take suddenly was getting different manufacturers and my body knew it and I was having reactions to these changes. Most chain pharmacies do not understand this. Dr. Miccio listened and understood my sensitivity to these changes and helped me find a specialty pharmacy where I could get the meds from pharmaceutical companies that I was used to taking. Very understanding doctor and tries to help you the best he can. Yes you may have to wait a bit but when it’s your turn you get the same attention that other patients received.

The most caring staff the best doctor in the world in my opinion I have been with family healthcare as a patient for well over 25 years Dr Mitchell takes the time to look into my life and see what else is wrong if you open up to him he will help you best doctor in the world I know he's made house calls and no doctor does that but he did highest rating ever. Can't say enough about him and his staff

This place has the rudest staff that I've ever dealt with. Calling for a refill prescription, that the doctor said to call in for, and the woman at the front desk was rude and dismissive. She waited up until the very last minute of a 30 day prescription, claiming she would call it in at the end of the day. She knows that you can call in any prescription including narcotics within 72hrs prior to the end of the prescription. The reason for that is so you dont run into the problem of having your prescription not called in and you dont have to skip doses. She treats people as if the patients needs dont come first. She may not like her job but she should keep that to herself and work on a better bedside manner. If you can bypass the front desk and get straight to the doctor that would be great. Unfortunately you have to go through the gate keeper.

My husband went to Dr Miccio the other day. We have been looking for a new family doctor/GP. Had read reviews that people comment of the length of time it takes to be seen once in the office. My husband found that it is just because the doctor is so thorough. He really took the time to discuss all of the questions my husband had which is why the next patient may have to wait a little but honestly I would rather have a doc who cares and isn’t rushing me out in order to fit the next person in just for $$. I will be scheduling my appt next!

They said my daughter didn't have Lyme disease even though the tests by any standards were positive. After two years, I finally went somewhere else and my daughter is still suffering ten years later due to their unwillingness to treat her for Lyme. Dr. Miccio said she had psychological problems. The Mayo Clinic said she has Lyme.

I am so grateful to have such caring physicians and accommodating office staff here locally in Mt Olive. I’ve had several emergency visits where they have always been there for me. They have been my routine care physicians for the past almost five years. Every telephone call & office experience has been totally positive whether it be with office team, nursing staff or Drs. Miccio or Friedman. I wish to take this opportunity to express my appreciation & thankfulness for the caring and knowledgeable medical office they are.

Dr. Miccio is a mensch in an office of nice people.

Great doctors but the staff doesn’t do their job.

He is very big on prescriptions he is not even the doctor to a friend of mine but for cash he keeps prescribing adderal 20 mg 2 times a day so that's 40mg for a 42 year old man who dosent have adhd its ridiculous but that's what cash does. Theres 3 other doctors that do not want this man on adderal but the cash is more important to this doctor. So I guess if you like prescriptions then hes definitely a great doctor for you.

So far, so good. Staff very responsive to overlapping issues. Make appt in morning, Dr. talks and talks. This is good. Bad for patients on opposite end of the day. Not perfect, but who is? Piss/Blood lab next door, very convenient.
