I was told I was fine by this doctor over the phone after an abnormal echo. Lucky that I did my own research and read the results of echo and demanded a hard copy. I have an enlarged right ventricle. Also, I was just diagnosed with ASD by another cardiologist within the group after I scheduled my own follow up appointment. I highly recommend anyone who is being treated by this doctor to seek another opinion. I was told by two other doctors in NYC this week that I should not have been told I was

I highly recommend anyone who is being treated by this doctor to seek another opinion. I was told by two other doctors in NYC this week that I should not have been told I was fine. Also, on my Initial office visit he did not examine me at all or do an ekg after I was just in the hospital for chest pain. I feel sorry for other folks who may be receiving the same level of care. This is unacceptable.

Knowledgeable, cares about the patient and family members. Dr. CHAWLA spends adaquate time with you in the office and makes sure everyone is on the same page before he leaves the room. He is excellent and a very kind man too.
