If I could say one word about doctor Mehta I would say Trust. Put your trust in him. I had broke my nose when young and had a deviated septum. I had gone to other plastic surgeons before who made a mess out of my nose. I lived with it for years and wanted to get it fixed. My septum was deviated pretty severe and I really didn't think anyone could fix it. I was so scared of anyone touching my nose as I did not trust plastic surgeon anymore after my experiences. Eventually I just couldn't live with it and figured I was going to find the best doctor who specializes in noses. I looked in la and Bay Area and doctor Mehta was so kind. I was so anxious and untrusting even talking to him but he didn't make me feel rushed and always kept answering my questions. He is so gentle and good to you. He did show me on the computer how he would fix my nose and I didn't like it. Part of me felt what if he mess up but doctor told me not to pay too much attention to the computer screen and that in reality it will look like "what I wanted". The price quote was shocking to me. It was too high. It took me few months to make peace with it and going back and forth with a doctor multiple times for me to say ok I will trust him (this was really hard for me). I am just so thankful I went for it. My nose looks so good that I never imagined. My deviated septum is fully repaired and I can breathe better. I still can't believe how the doctor was able to do such a good job. Like he had to be so precise and perfect. After 6 month I injured my nose again and ended up with a rare infection. I could have lost my septum. Doctor at Kaiser told me it was just swelling and sent me home. Doctor Mehta told me to go to back to emergency the same night because he thinks it's hematoma. I went back and had to have two emergency surgeries. Had the doctor not told me to go back I would have lost my septum due to infection. Doctor Mehta was traveling but still through the weekend worked with my Kaiser surgeon over the phone on how to perform the surgery to get rid of the infection and save my nose. I was so scared through the whole thing and crying and doctor Mehta was there was to comfort me. He is so awesome. I would trust him with closed eyes. Thank you doctor for being such an awesome doctor. All the money and experience was worth it.

I got a DiamondGlow facial from Kelli and it was absolutely WONDERFUL!! My skin was baby soft afterwards and lived up to the glow! She listened to all of my skincare questions and was able to recommend some products that would help with my dark spots from sun that have been popping up lately. 10/10 will be back again, everyone in the office was very nice and pleasant as well!

The research for an educated, artistic and skilled surgeon, with consistent results, grew difficult over the last few years. It wasn't until I was recommended Dr. Mehta that I knew my search was over. He has a keen eye with a perfectionist attitude, without all the noise you see from other surgeons. In one look he's able to cater a plan for you, without you even saying a word. That's how second nature this is for him! He's gracious, humble, and kind spirited- it's also obvious he's an advocate for all his patients so you feel at comfort from day one. Dr. Mehta is also incredibly invested in ensuring you're confident and at ease. There's a reason why he's top rated! I am a little over a month post-op and Dr. Mehta and the staff at Mehta Plastic Surgery have been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I have been wanting a rhinoplasty for years but have always been too nervous to follow through until I met Dr. Mehta. He listens, answers questions patiently, and explains the process thoroughly. I had so much trust in him and his work that I wasn't even nervous on the day of surgery. The results came out amazing!!! After surgery, Dr. Mehta and his staff are also always there to promptly address any questions or concerns during the healing process. Shannon (a nurse at Mehta Plastic Surgery), is so helpful and reassuring! She is always there to listen and answer questions/offer advice throughout the process. The staff at the Waverley Surgery Center are also wonderful. I was a little nervous about going under anesthesia but the anesthesiologists reassured me and made sure I felt comfortable. I woke up and there was a nurse by my side talking to me kindly and helping me eat/take my meds. I highly recommend Dr. Mehta and Mehta Plastic Surgery if you are considering a rhinoplasty!

Condition/Surgery: Septal PerforationPerforation size: Approx 10mm x 13mmI am more than greatful for Dr. Mehta' s skill, knowledge, and ability to perform this type of surgery. I don't normally leave these long detailed reviews, however he deserves this acknowledgement. If you are reading this review, you might be considering this operation for yourself. I spent considerable time researching the best surgeons in the U.S. and the procedure with the highest % positive outcomes. After nearly 18 months of consultations here and there and understanding the different surgical procedures performed to repair a septal perforation, I know I made the right choice with Dr Mehta and the use of a PDS plate for repair.Dr Mehta's was always able to get back to me, I never felt rushed with him, and he took the time to explain everything from start to finish which I appreciated. I actually found him on another review site, where the patient explained his condition and the process; after reading that detailed review is what convinced me to reach out to Dr Mehta. For me one of the key drivers was to use a surgeon who was experienced in Rhinoplasty and the use of the PDS plate which acts as scaffolding for the repair. It just makes sense that the perforation would repair more quickly and with better results when there is something there for the fascia to bind to.The entire process was smooth and relatively painless. The hardest part for me was all the logistics of hotels, rental cars, and travel as I was from out of state. Today I had my splints inside my nose removed and upon removal Dr Mehta believes my surgery will be 100% repaired. I plan to have a video call with him in about a month to monitor progress. Both sides were pink which was positive. I can't say for sure, but possibly one way I may have contributed to the positive outcome is using the saline rinse every hour versus the several times a day which was recommended. Constantly keeping the perforation repair moist and not giving it a chance to dry out. During the week after perforation repair I was not able to taste or smell, which was a bit concerning, however upon removal of the splints, everything was back to normal. Oh and there are a few staples on the side of my head that needed to be removed (fascia harvest site). Just minor pain during removal, nothing out of the ordinary.Overall if you are considering septal perforation repair I would highly recommend having Dr Mehta in your list of potential candidate to perform the operation. I felt very comfortable with him, and believed he was the best surgeon to take this on. On the day of surgery, the nurses at the surgery center also commented that he was a perfectionist and reassured me I would be happy with the results. So far so good, he was the best surgeon for the job. I can't thank Dr Mehta enough for repairing my septal perforation. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can now put this behind me.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Dr. Mehta and his team. I am coming up on almost a year after my rhinoplasty and septoplasty, and I am so happy with the results. Not only was the team extremely friendly and attentive to my needs, but they also made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process of my operation. The results of my surgery are perfect and I am so glad that I came here for this operation. Words can't really describe how professional and welcoming Dr. Mehta's team is. An expert with rhinoplasty and having trained with the best, his revision work is amazing. The staff is so friendly, helpful and chill. Reminiscent of Dr. Mehta's bedside manner (which is nice when needles and/or surgery is involved). bad fortune came to me as a consequence of posting my medical experience online -- mehta refused to provide treatment during an emergency complication and refused to assess or document the problem. then he sent a coverup letter in the mail stating i had "chosen" to find another doctor (it was his breach of contract). i also recently found out mehta double billed me and my insurance company for the same medical procedures, and/or billed for procedures that were not provided. his office flat-out refuses to provide me or my insurance company with a receipt. my breathing is significantly worse, and i was completely defrauded for over $20k. i lost over a month of work. avoid this shady person -- find someone who behaves like a real doctor.

I'm so happy I found Dr. Mehta and Shannon! After having many poor experiences at medspas, I decided to only go to plastic surgeons. I have had the best experience with Shannon and everyone at Dr. Mehta's office. Shannon explained everything so well, met me where I was at, and was completely honest. Other places I've been to I feel like had really pushy nurses who over charged, didn't listen to me, and did an awful job. Shannon works with you to make sure you get the results that you want. Dr. Mehta even came in and introduced himself which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and kind. Sooo happy with my whole experience here- thank you Dr. Mehta and staff!
