Dr. Maeuser analyzed my partner's case effectively and with ease. He communicated well with the medical team, influencing the imaging/testing, treatment, and outcome. His technical/clinical skills for carotid endarterectomy were perfect and amazing. He communicated compassionately and well with us, providing clinical data to support his recommendations. Overall, I don't think you can find a more capable vascular surgeon for the carotid endartectomy. We are forever grateful.

I hope that I'll never have to undergo this procedure again but, if I had to, I would not hesitate for a single second to chose Dr. Maeuser again. Beginning with the first consult everything was calm and relaxing. Kind, always with a smile and always ready to answer any and all questions. I was completely relaxed going into the OR. Once I woke up, I was still made to feel good, because Dr. Maeuser has surrounded himself with a knowledgeable and kind group of professionals.Thank you for a veryositive experience.

Selected DR Maeuser after interviewing three other surgeons. After answering all my concerns he gained my confidence. Performed my hernia surgery in 1997 and have never had a problem since. He is an excellent Dr. Stephen p.s. Yes, this review is somewhat late

Took my appendix out a few years ago. What a great doctor! He has an excellent sense of humor and is very compassionate. As an example of how wonderful he is, he placed the incisions so that I could still wear a bikini. The aesthetics of my stomach didn't matter to me then, I was in too much pain, but now I'm so grateful! He also got the help of another doctor when factors changed so that I got a correct diagnosis. Very thorough, considerate and intelligent.

Dr. Maeuser is exceptional. I just had emergency surgery and had the "luck" of him being on-call at Hunterdon Medical. He spent time explaining the pro/con of having surgery as well as his recommendation. After the surgery he spent time with my partner explaining what happened during the procedure. Post-op he spent close to 30min discussing what occured, reasons why, open questions, next steps etc. I felt like I was in very good hands the entire time.

I LOVE THIS DOCTOR HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME. HE WILL SPEND ALOT OF TIME WITH YOU, HE ALSO HAS A HEART OF GOLD.IT IS NEVER ABOUT MONEY HE REALLY CARES FOR HIS PATIENT'S I WOULD TELL ANYONE TO SEE HIM YOU WILL FEEL THE SAME WAY HE IS A RARE FIND.
