I recently became a patient of Dr. Montes after a breast cancer diagnosis. That type of diagnosis requires an incredible amount of decisions to be made, very quickly, but smartly - Also, there are multiple additional scans, testing, coordination of appointments, etc, and there is a significant emotional component to it as well. I mention all that because Dr. Montes and her staff were there with me throughout the process - I was well informed about my treatment options and plan of care. My questions were always answered with important factual information, but also with compassion and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend Dr. Montes, and want to acknowledge her amazing staff as well.

Dr Jen made a very scary and emotional time, less overwhelming. She showed such compassion and care, I didn’t feel like I was “just a patient.” Dr Jen and her team at Hunterdon Breast Surgery Center, along with HRCC, gave us the confidence we needed to choose to be treated locally. From the biopsy and diagnosis, to surgery, and after-care, I could not have been more pleased and grateful to have Dr Jen as my surgeon.

A cancer diagnosis can be the most terrifying news to hear. There is no one better to have in your corner during this journey than Dr Montes. From the very first time you meet her, she makes you feel like her only patient. She takes time to explain details of your diagnosis and treatment options with compassion and takes time to really listen. She makes it clear from the beginning that we are on this journey together. She is an amazing surgeon with the bedside manner of an angel. I am eternally grateful to have her lead my team. Additionally, she surrounds herself with an amazing staff. Everyone you encounter from the receptionist, surgery scheduler, nurses etc are supportive, helpful, encouraging and compassionate.

Dr. Jennifer Montes, was very through and explained everything to me and options I had when I was diagnosis. Her entire staff was amazing and thoughtful. I continue to receive excellent care from Dr. Montes and her staff. I would highly recommend!

Dr Montes is a true angel on earth! She has to deliver life changing news to women everyday and does it with such grace & reassurance that we will make it through this together. From diagnosis I was completely taken care of by her & her team, never missing a beat, or making me feel alone during this process. The support that I would be happy with my results after this was very important to me as I am 35 and wanted my body to feel like myself again. Every resource & appointment she’s given was proactive & I felt I had a true team behind me which let me focus on my family & my mental health during this journey knowing I had an A team taking care of me. I am forever grateful to her and her teams for guiding me so carefully through this and I never felt I had to look elsewhere because I was confident she had my best insert at heart & gave me every resource I could need to fight this- and I did!

Dr. Montes was an absolute godsend. I was new to the state when I found a couple of lumps in my breast. I was 38 with 3 young children when she diagnosed me with breast cancer. She saved my life. Throughout the entire ordeal and even now 3 years later the level of care and compassion I continue to receive from Dr. Jen and the entire staff at the breast surgery center was far beyond standard. It was nothing short of exceptional. Though having breast cancer is terrifying, I never felt alone. Even during the height of the pandemic my care continued at the same high level as before. There was no delays in any treatment. I was fully informed every step of the way. Her expertise as a surgeon is quite apparent. My chest, which I kept flat, looks amazing. My scars are clean, light, and straight. Her dedication to her patients is remarkable. She even founded the non profit Evolve Pink to further the support for breast cancer patients and their families. I highly recommend The Hunterdon Breast Surgery center to anyone with breast concerns. I can honestly say I do not believe I would be here today had it not been for HBSC and Dr. Montes.

Dr. Montes is such a good doctor. She is knowledgeable, caring and kind. She guides you especially in the difficult time after dx. Her staff are so helpful. They are ready to help with any concern you might have. They are truly a village for your care and all working together with you. I am glad they are with me along my treatment. A big sincere thank you!

I have been in Dr. Montes’ care for 2 years now. From day one, she has helped me navigate my diagnosis with compassion and kindness, always making sure I understand my options. She is an excellent doctor and is so very smart. In addition to supporting me as a patient, her Evolve Pink organization has brought me so much support, comfort, and knowledge. Dr. Montes is more than just my doctor, she is a true friend that goes over and above helping me with anything.

I have been going to Dr Montez for 3 years now. She is one of the most empathetic, caring and warm human beings I have met in a long long time. She treats every person like they're her best friend and walks and talks you through any "tough thoughts" you have. She has opened the EVOLVE PINK Center, Main Street Flemington. This EVOLVE PINK website has programs and mental therapy, and anything you could want, when going through a really tough time in your life. Everything is free. Go to Main Street location it's fabulous.

Dr Montes and staff are all kind, caring and compassionate! They take time and consideration in everything they do. No questions were left unanswered! They are the best of the best!! Thank you ladies. I honestly wouldn’t have been able to get through all of this without You.
