Dr. Horiuchi sat down in front of me and listened like I was the only important thing in the world at that moment. He repeated back to me what I said, so we both knew he understood what I was saying. It was so refreshing to actually be heard. Dr. Horiuchi explained about the tests he ordered. I felt like we were partners in my healthcare, which is how I prefer my Dr., patient relationship to be. Dr. Horiuchi clearly explained the results of my tests and his conclusions. I felt like I was in excellent hands with Dr. Horiuchi.

Dr. Horiuchi was actually my mother's cardiologist from 2007-2012. I was her caretaker, bringing her to his office, scheduling her appointments and speaking on her behalf. Dr. Horiuchi was always helpful, thorough and very knowledgeable. We first met him when my mother was hospitalized in HMC for congestive heart failure. His bedside manner is exceptional and he answered all questions with honesty and professionalism. If I ever need a cardiologist in the future, he would be my #1 choice.
