List of Lisa A. Plunkett's Reviews
Insensitive and abrupt, unprofessional and disrespectful. Completely dismissed my daughter’s symptoms
Horrible, she has no idea what she is doing! My poor daughter suffer for weeks and is afraid to see a doc because of her. Avoid her!
Horrible bedside manner. My poor daughter will never go back. Avoid Dr. Plunkett
Very aggressive towards patient, unwilling to listen to chief complaint but most importantly missed key factors to the patients health that could potentially cause long term health conditions to worsen. Chief complaint on top of those issues is the inability to complete accurate paperwork cause due harm to the patient.
I am surprised to see such negative reviews. Lisa Plunkett has been a fantastic doctor, I now live 45 mins away and refuse to change primary doctors because of her. Plunkett never rushes through appointments. She's compassionate to sensitive issues and has excellent bedside manor. Hunterdon Hospital isn't the best, I have a lot of complaints about other staff, nurses, and centers apart of Hunterdon, but I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Plunkett.
Never available and the nurses rarely ask questions to the doctor but turn around and give pre-set answers. I think the practice would rather have one suffer than truly reach out and help. The whole practice has gotten worse over the years
This whole practice has declined over the years, but now it is terrible. They seem hardly to care about you as a patient. This is from the doctor down to the nurses and office manager. I would not recommend this doctor or practice to anyone.
She was extremely rude and unprofessional with my son. Will not go back.
After several years with HFP, I have to call it quits. Practice is now a part of HMC and they have forgotten how to put patient first. Its all about practice and profit first. They are quick collect the co-pay and to bill your insurance, however, when it comes to service, they could care less; I'd been waiting months to see Dr. Plunkett for a check up. I needed to discuss an issue I was having and had just went to another dr earlier in the week and was told to discuss with my GP. Was running late because of traffic and tried to call the office, however, the phone lines were going to VM, even though they were in the office. When I finally got through, I let them know I was running late for my appointment because of an accident on the highway and I was about 10 minutes away. The secretary told me "I had to be there in 10 mins to be checked in or I have to reschedule. I walked in the office 13 min later and they refused to see me. They told me to reschedule. This would have been the 4th reschedule since May. I told them don't bother, I'm going to another doctor. I should have left years ago when I got SEVERAL misdiagnoses from this doctor, but I trusted her and thought we had a good relationship. Boy was I wrong! She didn't have time to see me because I'm late less than 15 mins due to no fault of my own. When it takes MONTHS to get an apt. and you tell them you have a medical issue that needs attention and they refuse to see you.... Not the Dr, nor practice I want to trust my health with any longer! I would consider staying if I could see Dr. Mattei, but I have a better chance of seeing God first.
Agree with the other post 100%! The WHOLE PRACTICE IS NOT there when you really NEED THEM! They've always had issues, but since they've changed hands to HMC, they've gone downhill FAST. More PAY ME first, patient last! I should have stopped going when they misdiagnosed on MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. ONCE WAS MAJOR! This whole practice has forgotten the priority should be patient FIRST. We trust you with our lives, but all they trust is how much you can get from INS & our wallets. I'M DONE WITH THEM!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
