List of Marc I. Storch's Reviews
Don't trust this doctor with your personal information! Don't waste your time! Horrible patient service. Drive the extra 30 minutes to go to another rheumatologist. Let me preface by saying that I don't really write reviews, and I go to a ton of doctors with Hunterdon. I feel strongly enough to help other people to avoid this so-called "dr." Let me share the experience we had. We went in for a follow up appointment. Please note that this is still COVID-19. We waited for 30 min in an office that had a desk, X-ray screen, food and microwave, and a chair to examine patients. THERE ARE HUNDREDS & HUNDREDS OF FILES WITH PATIENTS' PERSONAL INFO AND FILES ALL OVER THE OFFICE WHERE HE CONSULTS PATIENTS! I easily could have taken any of them and no one would have noticed. Why didn't they have us wait in the car and call when they are ready, like every other dr. during COVID? Then, office workers came into this office (within 6 ft of where we sat) getting snacks while we are still waiting for the dr. He comes in, and is reviewing the info for the first time (why didn't he do this before he made us wait 30 min?) He proceeds to dictate himself into the computer, instead of having an assistant help with this. At the end, we got a prescription for a stronger version of Advil. Then the bills come in at $700, after insurance. I called the office manager to ask for a payment plan, just over the next 3 months. First, she doesn't return my call. I called a second time and she said to call her back another day. I said, "Why don't you call me when you can?" She said, "It would be easier for you to call me." I call her again another day. I told her my concerns about HIPPA compliance and the treatment we had. Granted she is his wife, she defended everything that happened there saying this is how doctors are, they have the right to store files wherever they want. They don't do payment plans. Why isn't this stated when you fill out the paperwork initially? She wasn't willing to work with me AT ALL. The conversation was all about her, how she waits 3 hours for doctors, how she sees files in doctors' offices all the time. She continued to repeat herself, "This is how doctors are." She clearly hasn't been to a doctor in the past 5 years, nor during COVID. This isn't a way to treat people. There is no patient service here at all. BUYER BEWARE! I reported him to my insurance, to the head of Hunterdon Medical Partners and to the US Dept of Health for the way he treats patients personal information. I left the other issues with her out of it, as she is just a miserable, nasty person, and doesn't care about anyone but herself.
Kind friendly Dr. He worked hard to set up the tests that I needed. He surprised me with a quick follow up visit. I am very glad I found him. The Rev. Canon John C. Belmont

Update: Doctor canceled 2 hours before my follow-up appointment this morning which was supposed to be to take x-rays of affected joints from the psoriatic arthritis, and to develop a plan of action. I was told they could get me in in three weeks -- I've already waited four for this follow-up. Stay away from this quack. From four weeks ago: This is purely a judgment of the staff -- so far, not impressed. I was told when I made the appointment that referrals presently are not necessary because of all the COVID-19 hullabaloo. Two weeks ago the office called and told me I DID need a referral -- she told me it had to either be faxed or delivered in person. My doc's office faxed it over, but yesterday Storch's office called again saying they needed it, and furthermore if they didn't have it by the next day, Tuesday, they wouldn't see me on Thursday. Suddenly the goalposts were changed, and they needed the referral two days in advance. I balked, asking her why these rules are unlike ANYBODY else's in the area. In a snitty tone she simply said, "I don't know what to tell you, but these are our rules." B*tch. We'll see how the doctor visit goes -- so far, the office sucks.
HORRID PRACTICE! DR. STORCH AND HIS WIFE (FRONT DESK AND HANDLES INSURANCE AND REFERRALS, ARE HORRIBLE). Never gave my blood results even after my doctor requested several times! I finally created a Labcorp account online so I can see them before any doctor calls me and low and behold I have been very sick!! I visited him and he downplayed all my symptoms and telling me I didn't have anything wrong with me. His wife is the front desk woman who makes appointments and then when you show up, she says you never had an appointment when I know I had an appointment. I was so sick (Hashimoto, and Thrombocytosis where my platelet count is so high it's dangerous), so she lied about no appointment after it took me 3 hours to get dressed slowly and drive there. No test results back and very sick. I'm probably repeating myself but I'm that sick, sorry. Can't believe I'm going to add this but forget about dealing with his wife if you are attractive or pretty. Dr. Storch decided to flirt with me at the front desk, can you believe that? Well, she didn't like it and he told me "Isn't my wife beautiful." Well, the look I got from her I will never forget and I'm sure he contributed to the mess.
I was diagnosed with Scleroderma by Doctor Storch on August 5th 2019. I started going to him June 2019 with complaints of my hands swelling and joint pain. He did not dismiss any of my symptoms and took extensive bloodwork to test for RA and other autoimmune diseases. He is very patient and answers any and all questions I have. I would definitely recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
