List of MIchele S. Grove's Reviews
I had my recent annual visit with Dr. Michele Grove. During that time I discussed with her my symptoms. She found the tiniest little nodule inside my breast for which I am having removed surgically this coming week. I will forever thank her for finding this little spot. She potentially saved my life! She’s a wonderful Doctor who is knowledgeable, compassionate and kind hearted! You will not go wrong if you select her as your OB/GYN! Valerie Longo Sent from my iPhone
Referred for fibroid removal. Office focus is on child birth. Waiting times for scheduled appointments unacceptable (over 30 minutes). Dr was very terse. She offered to biopsy on day of initial consult (with no pain refief) although symptoms of broken glass feeling in uterus, daily spotting, etc, clearly indicated removal and subsequent biopsy was more appropriate. Procedure went OK. Polyp found and removed in addition to fibroid. Sent home post surgery without pain meds. Had to take an uber to office next day to pick up. Had to badger office for biopsy results. When procedure did not help leg pain, dr had zero idea on what type of dr handled pelvic congestion nor was she capable of googling. (Answer: interventional radiologist). For these reasons and more, I would never recommend her and feel 80% of doctors, on their worst days, could do better.

For a FTM, she was very clinical in her presentation of things. Terrible bedside manner, especially when harping on weight gain (I have a history of obsessive compulsion about weight and eating disorders). I just found her to be overwhelming and insensitive.
Love her she’s great
I was a patient of hers for about 5 years & I would NEVER go back. I went for the usual yearly check-up and every year we had to fill out the same ridiculous forms. If nothing has changed, why do this? Complete waste of time. She would ask the same inane questions, even about my family; it got very tedious. I had one serious issue and was actually dismissed from the waiting room because, all of a sudden, no one would see me. I went over the the E.R. and someone from the office called me and actually made a joke about the situation. I told her off royally and later on reported it to Dr. Grove. She said she had no idea about it. Bunch of idiots. To me, Dr. Grove is very inexperienced, unknowledgeable, closed-minded and unaware of how to treat patients. She actually caused me pain and bleeding during a routine exam. After that visit, I retained a lawyer and she’s just lucky that I was alright. I found a better doctor and wish that I had gone to HIM earlier. 100% improvement.
Iâve been seeing her for a number of years now and I think that Iâm done with her. I had an emergency a couple of years ago and, after sitting in an empty waiting room for almost 30 minutes, was told that no one could help me. Just like that. I left and went next door to the e.r. and was treated there. A nurse called me with an attitude as I was walking into the e.r. and I gave it right back to her. She treated the whole situation as a joke. When I saw Dr. Grove for my regular check-up, she said that she knew nothing about my emergency. Dr. Grove has been physically rough during my exams, makes sweeping generalizations and pushes for unnecessary procedures. She doesnât listen to my concerns and asks the same inane questions. Also, one of her nurses has the lovely idea that medical problems are caused by âgetting olderâ. Very unprofessional.
I have had just three appointments with Dr. Grove and am trying to keep an open mind about her. I don't question her knowledge or ability to treat conditions. I am less than impressed with her level of caring about her patients' emotional needs at a time when they need to be supported and listened to. I got the very clear impression that she didn't want to hear about my experience and just wanted to tell me generalities that frankly did not apply to me at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
