List of Philip J. Glassner's Reviews
Dr. Glassner is a wonderful doctor. He explains things throughly and has a great bedside manner.
Dr. Glassner performed my meniscus repair. Great bedside manner, explained everything leading up to and during the surgery. Patiently answered all questions. And the surgery was completed flawlessly. Dr. Glassner’s staff is also very competent and caring. Highly recommend Dr Glassner for knee surgery.
TKR with Glassner approximately 18 months ago. Returned several times post-op complaining of pain, instability and swelling. He had a dismissive attitude and became very defensive telling me I needed to give it more time. Went for second and third opinions, both concluded implant undersized. Scheduled for TKR revision surgery.

Dr Glassner replaced both my hips within the same year and went to bat for me with my insurance. I felt I was in great hands with him and so far both hips are doing great and I am no longer in pain! He gave me back my quality of life!
Dr. Glassner is an incredible surgeon! I had both my hips replaced within the same year and he did an excellent job! I did have some after care issue with his nursing staff after the second surgery, as I had called them on Friday to inform them that they prescribed the wrong meds to me and nobody got back to me, even though the office was open on Saturday’s. So I was all weekend without good pain meds and in pretty bad shape. When the Aetna nurse called me on Monday to check in with me and I told her what had happen, she tried calling them for me and couldn’t get a hold of anyone there. Eventually the meds situation got straightened out and I was finally able to get the right pain meds on Tuesday, which in my opinion is not the best after care. But again that was not his problem, but the nursing staff at Mid Jersey Orthopaedics. I had the surgery at Hunterdon Medical Center both times and can’t rave enough about the nurses and PT folks there!! They were fantastic!! Soooo helpful, caring and attentive!!
Not sure about Dr Glasner, I only saw him once, and he never examined me. Just ask me questions. Told me that an MRI will be scheduled, and they will call me. Also told me, “if you do not hear from us in three days, call”. I’ve called twice and left two messages. The staff is garbage…. I can’t wait for them to call me back! I will never step foot in there or recommend them to anyone. 👎
Dr. Glassner replaced both ny knees and one hip. I highly recommend Dr. Glassner. He is professional, caring and knowledgeable.
Dr. Phillip Glassner is a great experienced surgeon. His demeanor and bedside manner are excellent. He’s always spent enough time with me and has answered all my questions and concerns. The auxiliary staff is very professionaland the procedures performed have had excellent outcomes.
He was ok....but a bit too quick for me. He talks too FAST !!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
