Dr. Lind saved my life. I experienced a heart attack at 21 in an unfamiliar part of New Jersey, and ended up in the care of Hunterdon Medical Center and Dr. Lind. After a few days, I was released and returned to my home in the Lehigh Valley. I continued to have intense chest pains, memory fog and confusion, and a low quality of life - so I went to several Lehigh Valley doctors who quickly dismissed me despite my episode at Hunterdon (my troponin was elevated to 12, so I'm not sure how you can dismiss that - but OK). They took the attitude that I was young, had no obvious blockages, so there was nothing more to discuss. Being dismissed by those doctors was the scariest experience of my life, for both me and my family. Finally, I decided to make the trip back to Hunterdon county and return to Dr. Lind. Dr. Lind fought diligently with the insurance company to permit me for a cardiac MRI - and when the test was finally authorized, it was evident that there was lasting damage to my heart. Dr. Lind diagnosed me with Prinzmetal's Angina and put me on a calcium channel blocker (and nitro for emergencies). Since then, I haven't had issues! I can live a normal life again, I am a senior in college, and I am a mother. I never would have been able to do any of these things or achieve any of my dreams without Dr. Lind's intervention. Best case scenario, I'd be constantly unable to breathe, doubled over in pain, unable to drive, and confused and disoriented. Worst case scenario, I would be dead. I owe my life and my future to this doctor alone, who advocated for me when others wouldn't. Trust me when I say if you are in Dr. Lind's care, you can breathe knowing you are in good hands. Thank you so much for everything, Dr. Lind! You are a true hero.

Dr. Lind has been my Dr. for the past 16 years. Having a bi-ventricular AICD can be very challenging . But Dr. Lind's knowledge and expertise in cardiovascular disease has seen me through many changes with my condition . He always knew exactly what to do and always gave me good advice . I am forever grateful for my well being today.
