Seth M. Rubin's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin’s for over 30 years, actually since he opened this practice. He has been a wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable doctor that I trust with my life. He also was sweet and kind the way he took care of my elderly mother. I would recommend him to anyone. He has gotten me through many difficult times and always put me at ease. I have total faith in him and his decisions.

Dr Rubin was great. Unfortunately I had to move out of state 2 years ago and haven’t returned. I miss the whole team.

I've been to Dr Rubin twice now. First experience was horrible and I had to be convinced by loved ones to give him another try. Second time was slightly better but not by much. Dr Rubin clearly only cares about the patients who want/having children. If you willingly choose to abstain, he treats you like an annoying piece of gum on his shoe. Often times he will talk over you and dismiss anything you have to say about your experience with any problem. He likes to hear his own voice more than treating patients. I did make my feelings known at the office as well after my first appt. and I think that's the only reason the second time was a tad better. Only giving him 2 stars because at least he's willing to call you himself to answer questions. That's the only reason he has more than 1 star. It's a shame he's the only specialist in my network to address my specific medical issue. If you have other options for a GYN doctor and not planning on spawning, keep looking.

First time Mom-To-Be couldn't be more pleased with my decision with choosing Advanced OBGYN for our prenatal care. Dr. Rubin gave me one of the greatest gifts I could ever receive... The sound of my baby's heartbeat! While I know that Dr. Rubin sees many patients everyday he made me feel as though I was his only one. Very attentive to my questions and took his time discussing everything with me. He was very genuine sharing in our excitement for this new little member to our family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin for many years. I would highly recommend him, for both routine OB/GYN issues or complicated situations, including surgery. I find him to be a great and compassionate doctor, in whose judgement and knowledge I trust completely

I find Dr. Rubin to be caring, knowledgeable, and prepared for his patients. The latter meaning a lot to me. I was seeing another doctor at the practice for several years and had to switch due to her being on leave. Dr. Rubin read my file and history before he came in and it was like I had been seeing him all along. I appreciate this very much. He is a skilled surgeon as well. I highly recommend him and will continue to see him. The staff in the office is very caring as well.

Have been his patient for 15 years. If it's a routine exam he can be a bit rushed. If you have concerns, he'll definitely listen and give you advice. I find him very knowledgeable, up to date on procedures and changes in treatments, great OB, great bed manners. Yes, it's true the wait to see him is long, has always been ever since I started going to him, but well worth it.

One of the worst I’ve ever seen. Never helped me, just threw unnecessary prescriptions at me and never made eye contact. Extremely rude and condescending. On my first visit, while discussing my allergies with a nurse, she actually said that my food allergy (to raw fruit) was caused by my not eating a lot of it. Are you kidding me? It’s called oral allergy syndrome, Einstein. Read before you judge. On my last visit, he tried to force me into having a uterine biopsy without preparation. I adamantly refused and he walked out of the room. I got my needed prescription, left, and never went back. Adios, a-hole!

Definitely would recommend him. Great bed manners, explains everything in a simple and clear way, and great doctor. Since he really takes time to listen to you, quite often your wait in the examination room can be long, but it is worth it, and you can schedule your appointment accordingly.
