Arrogant and removed, I sat in the hospital three days before seeing Dr. Ashraf. She spoke directly to my husband, not to me, the patient. When she introduced herself, I offered my hand, and she stepped back and reluctantly offered the "princess" hand. After a very short conversation, she then advised that she will decide what my subsequent year of medicines would be and would get back to me. I suggested that this should be a discussion and decision made with me after review of all the mr-images, ct-scans, ultra-sounds, and blood work that were performed while in the hospital. This was the first time she actually looked at me, then looked at her watch and said she had other patients to see, leaving my room. This was the last time I saw Dr. Ashraf until I needed her to discharge me. My six day 'visit' (without diagnosis) to this hospital ended hunting this doctor down as she "kept forgetting to complete the discharge paperwork".

Brilliant doctor - Associates need some help - but Dr Asraf is just pure gold!! Words can not describe how incredibly kind and intellegent she is!! The quality of care was the highest and most top notch that I have ever experienced!!

My father has been under Dr. Ashraf's care since August, 2007. She is a wonderful doctor-caring,knowledgable, conservative in her approach, and in general a very pleasant person to deal with for the patient and the family. Unfortunately, she has become so busy that she has recently taken a partner. I hope her new associate has the same wonderful qualities. It's too bad we can't clone Dr. Ashraf!!!

Excellent bedside manner. Very caring individual and doesn't talk down to her patients. Made my hospital stay easier and comfortable. I wish all doctors were like her.
